That blue on the ARB switches is obnoxious. Fortunately, mine are in a blind spot...the clock face.

 

maybe i can spray a little bit of the night shade tint stuff in the switch, like youd do with tail lights to dim the color/brightness?

 

Easy enough to just order a new switch back. Can use the same faceplate just change the back with new lights.

 

i wish i could buy the rear air locker switch and harness seperate so i can wire that in when i have everything ripped apart, but it doesen't look like they sell just the harness and switch seperate

Just kidding...the switch to solenoid is easy. its the switch to the pump that had all the extra wiring and what not. i can wire that bad boy in early i guess

custom switches. Can get them from several places. Those arent the ARB switches that come with them.

That's my point. You can just use any Contura V switch.

 

You still working on that 3rd gen you picked up cheap? Where is that thread?

 

Ah, thanks. Its still an ARB switch but with a swapped cover portion.

I am kinda remembering this now. I think I looked for them at one time but either couldn't find them or couldn't tell which brand/type they were.

No worries, I figure I’ll go ahead and install them on my next round of work because they can’t make things any worse.

@Blackdawg, have you talked to relentless and have they given you any idea what current lead times are?

 

I have. Eric told me they have changed how they build bumpers and usually do them in batches with a few extra's now to try and keep some lead times down and it has helped a lot.

Either way you're still looking at a few weeks no matter what. Which is fine by me.

 

@Blackdawg i just learned something, Toyota headlights are ground side triggered, it has a common power and two grounds so the headlights need a little relay harness to switch that bs around to the way everyone else wires h4s. But they light up okay and have a cutoff that should be easy enough to adjust for.

 

the whole truck is ground side switched. Why the grey wire mod works.

Grey wire what, I have a manual j shift haha. But yeah they'll be fine, won't get to test them in-depth until I get that harness. But for the brief moment I hotwired it the pattern was decent.

 

grey wire mod. Thats when you ground out the 4x4 computer to trick it think your in 4lo all the time so you can turn on your e locker whenever the hell you want. haha

Nice. Well that is good. Id be curious how the work in cold weather. Supposed to have a heat element in them for that.
