    Went and bid a job today, client told me no when I told him the price, he then proceeded to tell me he was going to add 20% to my estimate as well as pay for fuel and that I would do the job.

    Correct.....
    Talked to the folks I know who know almost everyone in the county and they hadn't heard of him or his last name so I reached out to a buddy in the next county over, 1 hour later he called back and said the guy was good to go, a friend of his knows the family and they're the type of people who pay what they think is fair no matter what.

    Went to my part time job today (mail carrier) and ran my route, stopped by my aunt and uncles on the way home to visit (aunt is a co-worker) and my aunt tells me that according to the Supervisor I was fired Tuesday because I had called in sick Saturday, mind you I’ve worked Tuesday and Wednesday of this week as well as today and talked to my boss since I called in last Saturday and everything has been fine.
    I thought yesterday was wtf worthy, but WTF?
    Scheduled to work (and going to) tomorrow. :confused:
