Hey guys. So i may be picking up a couple old dirtbikes in a trade. I need to find out what they are worth because i want to sell them.

the first one is a 74-76 honda elsinore 250

the second is a 74-76 yamaha enduro 175

This is what my friend who is trading them said they are. They run and are in good condition. I couldnt find anything online about the pricing.

    Thanks!!!

Those Elsinore 250s are awesome. That was the first dirt bike that Honda made specifically for off-road racing. If I had the cash laying around I would buy it from you. That thing is a piece of history.

I know you might need the cash but the off-road racing seen is getting bigger and bigger every year. I think you should keep the Elsinore for awhile. In 5-10 years I would bet it would be worth 8-10K to the right person. I'd really like to see a picture of it as well.

I'm into vintage bikes, I've seen bike go for such different prices, it's all about finding the right buyer who wants to relive there youth. I could never really give you an idea of what I think one of these bikes may be worth without a picture as everyones idea of condition is so different.

Here's a picture of my 71 RT1-B 360 which I would rate in fair to good original condition.

This is a bike that I got 3 or 4 years ago and had not ran since 72(believe it or not). Paint is all original except the fenders had to be repainted. I have resisted restoring this bike as I think it is cool to be in fairly original condition. Issues a collector may not like on the bike are normal wear and tare and age related issues such as scratches, dings etc. Now thinking about it some more I think I would rate my bike as good original condition.

Let me know if you get the Yamaha 175, I may be interested.

sure thing, I am still trying to decide if i want to trade. I would be trading a pretty nice hot tub for both the bikes.

I don't really know what hot tubs go for and like I said before, bikes prices can vary so much. This trade might be better if you did'nt mind being stuck with the bikes for awhile. Keep an eye out on ebay at completed auctions of similar motorcycles to see if any come up. Good luck!

That is one sweet bike, I had a 68' mini enduro 60 that looked just like that, my Dad had a 72' 175, my brother had a 90 and then a 125, of along the same year models. That sure does bring back some thoughts of good times.

Thanks guys! The RT1 is probably my favorite bike I own and yes I was probably being a little hard on the old bike when I said it was in fair to good conditon. I was very fortunate to find this bike that had not been started or ridden since 1972! What you see in the picture is basically all original, I've only repainted the silver parts, I replaced the tires with a good copy of the originals. For a nearly 40 year old bike in basically original condition I do think it's in real good original condition :) I guess I just see bikes that have totally been rebuilt and look like they just came off the showroom floor and unfairly compare them to mine.

    Here's a few more pictures!
