What have you done to your Tacoma today? 1st Gen Edition

Just curious, for some reason I thought it was more complicated.

 

While the truck is getting it's flexplate replaced I've been thinking about my color choice for the repaint. I already got a quote and put down a deposit to get it done in the factory Metallic Black, but I'm having second thoughts. Any other color suggestions?

And no I'm not bedlining the truck

 

I’m gonna re-repaint my truck green, blue or tan this summer. I think black is a great color if you don’t live around any dust, brush, in the hot hot sun and you’re high maintenance.

I don’t know what color your interior is but try to choose something that’ll go along with that. Brown against cement doesn’t work and it really bothers me.

 

Did your truck come factory as cement?

Ah they way you phrased it I thought you got it painted cement and changed your mind. Don't like your color?

 

I like the color, there's just some imperfections that bug me.

 

I had a 2012 Honda Civic before I got my Camry it had the color code NH737M, always thought it would look good on my truck:

 

Because the dark purple is cooler...so is the cool metallic silver...so is the radiant red..So would MGM gray..so would speedway blue...

 

You could always Calvary Blue that m-fer. I’ve read on TW that it’s a pretty special color.

 

Okay fair enough. But the purple is still awesome as it is almost black. That is why its cool. And the radiant red is still great, so is the silver, and so is MGM.

The green is cool, i own it. But not the best i think.

I'm still waiting to see a Pyrite Mica 1st gen. Best color on the 2nd gens.

 

I wanted Super White, but Imperial Jade Mica is the best.

Copper Canyon Mica has got to be really rare. I've only seen one and the clear was peeling off

 

There's a reason its "rare".
