Howdy TW, just figured I would toss this Tacoma of mine up in here. It's a pretty slow work in progress but I love this truck and it's been nothing short of a peach. Other than regular maintenance and one busted U Joint, I haven't had a single issue since I purchased it used a few years back. I've got just shy of 120k on the odometer now and plan to drive it into the ground!

    2007 6 speed Manual 4.0 6cyl

The only 'mods' I've done on it are the suspension and topper, but a few things I am looking into and researching are new steel or tube bumpers, wheel spacers for a bit different stance, and maybe a TRD supercharger down the road. The topper needs a rack and to be color matched, but those should be easy. Some recovery gear should also be added.

This summer I noticed that my stock suspension was pretty much shot, so I ordered Bilstein 5100s for all 4 corners, Toytec coils, and a Dakar AAL. I had the Bilsteins set at 2.5" up front and it did leave me with a bit of "Bro-lean" (despite the AAL, I'm sure due to the crappy leaf pack), so I just recently went ahead and had a set of Firestone Ride Rite's installed to level the truck and help out with weight in the bed+towing. I am super happy with them thus far.

Tires are 265/75/16 Duratracs on OEM wheels. I've been very happy with these tires for the short time I've used 'em here in Colorado. This truck spends quite a bit of time in the mountains on hunting trips and it has been great every time it's been out.

I'd love to hear some suggestions for wheel spacers and bumpers. I have eyed that "ebay bumper" a few times but a little wary on taking a chance with one. The ARB looks better to my eye but they do seem to be the heaviest around. A tube bumper may be the best way to roll for me, I'm thinking...

Are the riderites air bags? I ask because off road you'll rip them in half won't you? I also have the Toytec coils and so far I like them. The 600 lb coils take a little getting used to. Nice truck...

I had the eBay bumper on my second gen. Kept it for 2 weeks before I got rid of it. I would save money and buy from a well known manufacture like pelfrey or brute force.
You can get a brute force hybrid for a fair price. Buy once cry once.

Yessir, they are airbags. I also purchased some Daystar bag cradles after some extensive reading here and they seem to be the ticket for guys that also do some off-roading. I forgot that in my original post, my bad!

Thanks, I love that truck of yours. A Pelfreybuilt would be a good one to buy once cry once on, for certain.

I am just a bit west of Vail.
