I like chrome. I plan to swap the door handles and mirrors for chrome.

    One! Of! Us!

I mean just as long as you don't chrome EVERYTHING (looking at you 20" chrome wheel owners) then a little chrome here in there is a good contrast against the body of the truck.

Nope just OEM chrome, i've never been a fan of lets black everything out. The guy I sold my E30 did that nonsense, swapped out a rare grey interior for ugly black and proceeded to black everything else out. The charm of that car was gone it might was well have had a Nissan Sentra emblem put on it

    Damn that makes me sad.

Speaking of E30's. When I took an auto tech class over the Summer I had the truck up on the rack with the engine running to check something, this guy pulls up with his E30, does the same thing, and it's loud as FUCK.

He was running out of the headers. I shit you not.

I asked him how the hell he passed smog like that, he said he walked into the shadiest shop in Oakland and slipped them an extra $20

2nd this. Black Sand Pearl is a close second for me though. Best black I've seen when it's clean.

Then again I had no idea 1st gens came in so many colors! I'd like to see that purple in person.

Anybody know much about Coastal Offroad ? I've tried searching on here but haven't found much. They sell build it yourself kits and they're local to me. Think I'll have them assemble and install sliders this spring and hold off on the bumper until I upgrade the suspension. Can't afford a new welding hobby......yet.

Anyone have a good exhaust recommendation? Want to have it relatively loud-ish. Trying to hide the fact that's it's a 4 cyl, haha.

So, I got the elocker rear end in, and I believe it’s re-geared to 4:88’s. Can I drive it without switching over the matching front diff? Or would that make it explode?

You can not drive in 4wd ever. But driving around I'm 2wd is fine.

It's pretty sad what the E30 scene has become and where the prices went. I'm not sure when it became cool to drive a drifto-trash-beater-bomb

You could really fuck up your tcase. Ratios are too far apart and driving on asphalt won't do you any favors.

No shit. I tried to buy a decent 325ix with 240k on it and the fuckers wanted 12-14k for it  like wtf

It's less Tacoma and more mod
I love speedway blue and up until my decision to go white and jazz vinyl I would still want it.
