Those sport ones look awsome. Are they available yet? Or are you still putting on the finishing touches?

 

Have to widen them a bit. As you can see in the pic they came out a bit short of full coverage.
I know how it is to be antsy. I drive a sport and want them on my wheels yesterday. But we want them to be a quality product. So by months end we should have it dialed in.

 

By the way all... those tiny bubbles under the vinyl go away after a couple of days. I had a couple tiny ones on each of the wheels and by the 2nd or 3rd day, they were all gone. The vinyl flattens out too as if the bubble wasn't there. I mention this because you can drive yourself nuts and ruin the piece of vinyl fighting to get every tiny bubble out.

Yes. Thanks for adding that. This was a quick throw on to see how they fit size wise. I didn’t take my time. Just wanted to get a clear pic to send back to my sister so she can make the adjustments.

Any thoughts on what the ideal temperature range would be to install these vinyls? Wasn’t sure if cold weather would impact the process at all. Thanks!

 

It does. Surface should be at least 60 degrees. Air temp too. Too cold and the adhesive may not bond properly.

I put mine on when it was 40 degrees outside and it work just fine. Just make sure you have a heat gun so it can help the vinyl stretch.

 

Thanks guys, that’s very helpful. It’s 15 degrees this morning in NC. I’ll definitely order the Sport vinyls as soon as they’re available but will likely have to wait till Spring to put them on. Same goes for the custom bedside decals I just bought.

 

Okay Trd Sports. I finished the adjustments today. I’m going to cut and send them out tomorrow to @Pikestaco for another test. I think this will nail it though! Once he gives me the thumbs up, I will make sure I have enough vinyl to cut them. They do take more material than the TRD OR so I don’t have the material readily on hand. We will get the processed and sent out at soon as we can. Remember I work full time and have a 3 year old, but I will do my best. Also I will send you an email or tag you here and let you know when they have shipped!

Quick update guys. So the vinyl has been on my wheels for akmost 2 weeks. They look great. No peeking or anything. The few little bubbles I could not get out have all disappeared.

Also, I ordered these TRD center cap emblems of ebay and put them on last night. Someone else posted them. $14 and make a huge difference.

 

Are these the 6 cm (60 mm) caps?

 

Just an update on the sports, because they do use more material than the OR vinyl the price for ready to Vinyl will be $40.00 shipped and an extra $15.00 for the messed up.
