The new mid range will have 350 ft-lbs of torque. Beefier than the little guys but not balls to the wall like the DCF899

I was blown away when I came across a bolt it couldn’t tackle. It was the u bolts on someone else’s truck. To get them off I had to use a 2’ breaker bar with the 4’ jack handle slipped over that. They finally came off.

I bought a HF Flux Weld 90 last year along with a couple of spools of wire, luckily I still had the receipt and everything was still unopened and they let me return it for a credit towards the Vulcan 215 with a coupon for $579. Now I Have To learn to weld lol.

PS.....HF's Customer Service IMO far surpasses Sears from my recent experiences.

Yea I kinda agree. I wouldn't get much use out of the tool connect.

    Was quite the internal battle...lol.
The more I thought about it, the more I realized the control that TIG offers could not be ignored.

Plus I had a coupon. Same savings I would have gotten getting the Migmax 215.

Just bought one of the little 12 volt air compressor yesterday with the clamps to connect it to the battery, not the power plug. Have a tire that loses about 15 PSI in a week or so, setting off my TPMS light, so I hope This will be useful to keep it aired up. Compressor is about the size of an old steam iron, with a nice little bag to keep it and the hose and wires in for easy storage.

So far I am liking it. Certain things are not adjutsabke compared to more expensive rigs, I e. Argon pre and post flow. AC Hertz only goes from 50-150. Other machines can go as low as 20 and as high as 250. Plus duty cycle is only 20% at Max amperage. Time will tell how much these things limit me. Won't be welding more than 1/8" aluminum, so I doubt the duty cycle will be problematic. But overall it seems like a great machine for the price. All cordage is heavy duty and flexible. Torch is fantastic for a budget machine. I had planned on upgrading to a CK torch for it, but have put that on hold for the time being. May end up getting a longer torch for it when I start my trailer build.
