Did you tell them to fix their own website then? Because they are definitely playing the bait and switch game to a certain degree

No I didn’t even reply to the email. They’re not worth it. However, the guy actually called me later that day and I kindly told him I wasn’t interested if it’s not msrp or less. He then told me it’s a unique and rare truck. I told him I’m a very rare and unique buyer that doesn’t pay over msrp. He realized he wasn’t going to get anywhere and said okay, good bye and hung up.

Well, right down the road, at Fred Anderson Toyota, they didn’t even attempt to sell mine to me over MSRP. They just came out and said due to this being a rare allocation vehicle, they have to sell at MSRP. I said, no problem, as long as I get more than $62K for my trade. Took all of 10 minutes to negotiate that. Good folks with honest and reputable management from my experience

I was lucky. Where I’m buying, I talked to the guy on the phone 30 minutes before close. Told him there were 2 others I could get within the same distance from my home. (400 miles) I wanted this one because it wasn’t loaded up with accessories, just all season mats/sill protectors, and wheel locks. I told him I was ready to put money on one, offered $600 below msrp. He got me $300 off msrp. I’m happy with that.

Weather guard. No drilling and so easy to take on and off. I love it, but wish someone made a bed rack that would support a RTT but still allow access to the toolbox.

I finally got a call from the only dealership that let me “put an order” (and I use quotations since I know it’s just allocations) on a MT Calvary pro. He said Toyota notified them of one being allocated to them with the exact specs I wanted but he estimated it won’t be at the dealership til the end of February or sometime in March.

As I had mentioned in previous posts, I put a deposit at 3 different dealerships who offered MSRP. I was at the mercy of them when it came to colors or add-ons but the one dealership that allowed me to choose my specs.

When you get them at MSRP or slightly below, are they adding on other fees to make up for it?

My local dealer was giving $750 off, but the document fee was $1300. According to the toyota website, it should have been $600, with $500 being the state average. I didn't get it due to several overpriced options in addition to that price juggling.

I will definitelly be checking all of that when the time comes and it’s clear in writing from the dealership before I go there since it’s 700 miles away.

These blue pros look better in person. Not a bad color at all.

$700 below MSRP, $59 doc fee, $500 more trade in allowance on my Lexus than any other dealer offered. I couldn't be happier with my deal. Waite Toyota in Watertown, NY (yep, in the frozen tundra of upstate New York) was truly awesome to do business with! Definitely worth the 2 hour drive from Rochester, got exactly the Pro I was hoping for (2-3 month wait around here), and only 4 days from the time I found it until it was safely in my garage! When I read about the ridiculous mark-ups, the hassles and games dealers are pulling, and the waits some are enduring, I am feeling really lucky! Oh yeah, this truck has only exceeded my expectations. Totally. Love. My. TRD Pro!

Just put my down payment down on a 18 Pro, dealer said it may be 6 to 8 months before I get it. I opted for the trd steps and the trd performance air intake and a the rubber mat for the rear. The price up here is insane over 55 Canadian but I’m trading my 15 limited so I have pretty good trade value.

We have '18 Pro's in Blue down here in the States on the lot. There is a blue TRD PRO available 10 hours from you in Calgary at South Pointe Toyota that they have mislabeled as a "V6 Sport" Tacoma... Quick plane flight there and fun trip back.

I see calvalry blue pros sitting at dealer lots. Not sure if the person who puts a down backs out as they come in or what but they sit for a week or 2 here in houston. The whites never last
