I tried to reply to the e-mail that I got. Not sure if the original e-mail went along with it...so...if it didn't help...let me know.

e-mail went to joeb (looks close enough to the user-ID, that I figure it is probably you).

    Again...not a huge rush...just curious.

    Congratulations :bananadance:

Did you go with powder coat? I'm asking because I'm trying to judge when mine will show LOL. I should still be at least 3 or 4 weeks out since I ordered around 3 weeks after you and I opted for powder coat.

Sorry if I could have found this somewhere on the site. I did make a half hearted attempt. :crapstorm:

That'll buff out, on the first rock or tree you drive over LOL.

I really don't see an issue if that was the meaning of this post.

Yep, aluminum. Dont wheel as hard as many do but wanted the extra protection but lighter weight. May be a week or so before install. Snow coming this weekend and no garage.

The light scratches are from material handling. The scratches can happen from setting the plate on the laser table, taking them from the table and stacking to go to the press brake, and then the handling at the press brake to the pallet before weld, and then finally being slid around on the weld table to get to all the spots that require weld. It is near impossible to fabricate these without this happening. Short of us sanding every single plate prior to shipping, only to most like get some small scratches while being delivered, it is kind of tough. Sanding them would add a TON of time and cost to the product.

I'd love to see them before, and after mounted. I didn't get a chance to before mine, I'm getting mine scorpion coated, another type of bedlining. Someone said something about sandblasting, if done correctly, it should be phosphorus washed after blasting or sanding.

Scorpion coating done. I am going to test my skills and try to install these by myself this weekend. I did my SSO bumper, with winch, by myself so I'm going for it!

Your biggest friend will be a floor jack and a couple jack stands. Otherwise wrestling it up there alone is a bitch. That's the hardest part though! Bolting it up isn't too bad.
