Yeah! It's America's DIYGarage in Virginia Beach. It's pretty dope and they basically have every tool you could ever need to work on stuff

Hah that's awesome! I've never seen a X5 with off road wheels/tires on it. The only thing I wish they did was black out the fake bead locker bolts. Looks a little bedazzled.

Yeah I agree. A lot of wheels would look better without the fake bead lock, seems like 75% of wheels have it now lol.

I'm interested in the same wheels and tires. I read another post of yours that you were getting rubbing with 265/70/17 and these wheels, correct?? Did you end up leveling or lifting? I may just stick with 265/65 and the -6 TKO

    A couple things
They rubbed on the air dam at certain amounts of steering angle...Removed the air dam, problem solved. I may eventually trim the piece and put it back on, but I like the look without it quite a bit better.

Those look great! I was tempted by steelies.. I think they look way better than over priced gaudy, flashy wheels that don't suit a truck like these.

I appreciate that, and I tend to agree with you! Plus these wheels (and tires) are tough, I'm planning to wheel this truck hard when the time comes. Waiting on some sliders right now

Ya man! great choice. Plus you can trash em, and get new ones on the ease. Mine aren't flashy but they are hard to get so i'm a bit careful.. lol
Ya, sliders are next for me too.

Some volks. 17x8.5 TE37SB. 4 month wait time is a bitch. But they are a first batch. They aren’t bronze, they will be diamond dark gunmetal (only picture i have). They will be about a -10 offset they say. Idk what kind of rubber to use on them. I’m between the Falken at3w and the Ko2, duratracs are alright. I like the Falken because they are cheaper but the kbro’s look good.

Thank you! The FN six shooters were on the list as well as some SCS wheels and RRW’s as well. But these came up on the wheels and tires menu for a presale so I got em. Buy once cry once. I thought about the Black but I thought it might be to dark. Next will be a lift I think. I will defiantly take pictures when they come in.

IMO, a 0mm offset on an 8" wide aftermarket wheel is perfect on a 3rd gen tacoma.

Sits right at the fender, increases track width, eliminates the need for spacers (clearance) and doesn't effect wheel travel up into the fenders/bodywork.

Going past that into negative numbers introduces "poke" and you have to be careful with clearance depending on your tire selection.

The only negative offset builds I like have a HUGE lift, huge tires to match and aftermarket fenders.

I have 2nd gen with stock suspension. Was planning to add Rough Country 2” leveler on front only. Does anyone have that set up and running 16x8 265/70 with -12mm offset? Was looking at Ray 10’s that have -12 offset but worried about rubbing with the 265/70’s. Thanks for help.

For reference purposes, what is the negative/positive offset of the OEM wheels (OR/sport)? I'm trying to understand this "offset" stuff. I'm guessing the width of the rims and tires also play a big role on how much they stick out.
