    Nope. Not because it's cool. Memphis really is an awful city. Worst "city" I've ever lived near. It doesn't feel old and historic to me. Just feels dirty and run down and gross. Memphis has the highest concentration of entitled 'me too', 'me first', and general idiot fucktards of any place I've been. Worldwide. (I've never been to California or texas though but I expect they'd be a different kind of bad.) I've been in foreign countries during riots & mass protests and still felt generally safer than certain parts of memphis.
    Memphis is like the bowels of the state collecting and concentrating shit from all around. If it could just push those turds out into the river and use a few wet wipes to clean up, maybe then it would be an ok place.
