I'm not digging this kind of rainy weather. I signed up to be cold this weekend, not cold and wet!

I ordered them back on December 16th to which I was contacted by the owner of the company via email about the order to let us know they were currently out of stock. My first inclination was "Why didn't the shopping cart when I selected the color we ordered say "out of stock" ?" However, he was very professional and let us know they'll get us an update as soon as the next batch comes in or we can simply have a refund. I replied back to let him know I appreciated the immediate update and that we were willing to wait and to please let us know ASAP. From there we lost all communication up until this week. I tried emailing the owner several times with no response. When I called to speak to the owner to get an update I was immediately blocked by the person who answered who stated he's not here at the moment, however in the background I could hear somebody say "WHO IS THAT?". I was then put on mute for a few moments. When the guy came back on he asked for the order number which I provided. After that he said "we should hear from Maxtrax soon." I replied "Ok, can you be more specific?" He replied "We don't know, it will be soon, I'll call you Thursday to let you know more." Yesterday came and went, no call, no email so I called this morning and requested a refund. They tried to keep my money by stating it will only be a little longer tell we know when the next shipment is in and from there it should only be a few more weeks. I very politely said, please issue a refund and send confirmation via email of this refund.

I do realize these come out of Australia and they've had shipping problems in the past due to damage so they now send them over in bulk. I have no problem waiting on something but felt I was getting the run around on the order with no communication and vague updates so I'd much rather order from somebody else. Sorry no pictures b/c we never received the maxtraxx but hopefully this gives you an idea.

Bummer! One of the downside to working with small companies sometimes if they don't have the proper support in place...and you experienced it it seems. Who was the vendor if you don't mind I ask? You can DM if you don't want to put them on blast.

Sent you PM. I'm not one to blast a company over something like this. It was just unfortunate and wish it had been handled better.

That sucks, hopefully you received your refund and can find someone who has them in stock.

I must have been misread your other post. Either that or the caffeine hadn't kicked in yet this morning.
I thought you were looking at Maxtrax because you had a bad experience with some of the cheap knock offs.

I was going to respond to that to clarify we had not tried any knock offs but I've been doing my homework on these and comparisons to the knock-offs. I only want what I know is reliable and works. :D

Have you looked at the XBull brand. They are on eBay for $99 per set.
I don't have them. I just came across a couple of YouTube videos the other day where they were testing them out.

I bet a Plasti Dip shop in town might make some money because honestly nobody wants to do that shit and or jack it up and have to repeat the whole process. Kinda sad too that in the AM im doing my last 25k mile/free oil change with Charles Maunde. The Struggle is REAL!!!

Did it on my last car. It was easy. Pretty hard to mess up. I've even seen videos showing how to do it without removing the wheel.

I'll have to check these out. I don't believe I have seen these yet in comparison to maxtraxx. Thanks!

You can do it man. You just need to dedicate some time to make sure you do it right. I did mine with the tires on the truck. If you overspray onto the tire it can be peeled off at the end and the spray will stay on the wheel itself. Make sure and do plenty of coats (at least 5 or 6).

Their Pro line Impact sockets are tough to beat for the price. Most things can be hit or miss due to lacking QC but when it's a hit it almost feels like striking gold.

Meh, a couple hours of work is worth the 6 years my dip has been on my wheels! Still looks good. It's no show truck...but I'm certainly surprised how long it's lasted. Used 1 whole can per wheel & rotated in two spares while dipping the other two at a time.

Been through two newer sets of tire installations, plenty of balances & rotations, patch fixes with the wheel coming off...etc.
