I wanted to tell about my experience with LaGrange Toyota, GA. I just purchases a 2007 Tacoma SR5 4*4 from there yesterday. Thank you to everyone on the forum as the things I read here really helped me make up my mind about the truck and gave me insight before I bought. The truck was a fabulous deal, with 34k miles it was 18991, after dealer fees 19321. So I was happy with the purchase.

However, the dealership (which gave me the usual we are different then all others family owned care about out customers, values up the wazoo). However one the deal was inked they became the same lame all about us, go take a hike that all dealerships are. The truck's molding around the back sliding glass door is ripped at the top. I asked if they could replace it and even just order the piece for me and I will do it. They looked at it and said the only way to fix is to replace the whole back window. AT 900 they say nope.

While they were looking at that the truck through a CEL with error codes P0031/P0051. They pulled up and showed me that those were for the two front O2 Sensors. I asked for them to replace them, and they say sorry it's your truck you didn't buy the extended warranty from us so that's a no go.

Everything on the truck appears good. I had not problems with it driving and performance. I drove it 150 miles back to my house (like I said price was just too good to pass up). However, when it comes to service I will never recommend them to anyone.

If you live in GA, I would say drive to Atlanta and hit up Toyota World. I hear they actually care about their customers. LaGrange appears to not care that much. Just about the dollars to them.

Hey my 06 DBL. cab with matching topper was 22K so you did get a great price. You really can't expect them to Bend Over for you at that price!

Did you not notice this stuff BEFORE you signed on the dotted line?

at 34k miles you should still have 1,000 miles left of the factory toyota warranty.

    Pretty much stock
Depends on what month the truck was purchased originally, if jan-now he is SOL.

OP call a toyota dealer and see when the warranty expires / expired, they will be able to tell you from the VIN #.

We'll I was OK with the back window if they really could not fix it without replacing it. But I don't think selling a car on a new car lot with an active CEL light seems like good business sense. That is just me. Anyway i'll call around about the warranty tomorrow at other lots. If I need to replace myself, does someone have a copy of the FSM with this chapter they can email me? Also, are Toyota's extremely picky about sensors. Can I go with Bosh or Denso and it be happy? And based on the codes, it is the two fronts? Could anything else set both of them off at the same time, like cheap ass gas?

    Thanks guys.

Can someone tell me where this is located in the engine bay:
Remove the A/F sensor heater relay from the engine
    room relay block
    .

Also do both upstream sensors run off the same relay?

I'm pretty sure your O2 sensors should be covered under the emissions warranty.

IIRC, the emissions warranty goes for 7 years/80 or 100k...
