Hah, brain foggy from 16 year old cabernet. Or maybe it was dislexic typing. Either way, I hope the adventure is epic rather than tragic.

34 years ago we rented one for our HS senior trip. I mostly remember water skiing, tequila, shrooms, and cranking Priest's Hellion off of Screaming for Vengeance every day. The rest is pretty blurry.

So, no, I can't help you.

Pretty much. We met up with the guys from the local Catholic HS one night. I remember fucking with their big shot Varsity linebacker all night while passing him tequila shots. I worked his emotions up and down for at least an hour. Dude was twice my size. Just fucking with his tiny little mind. Oh and I think someone walked off the roof of one boat and landed on the beach. Or, you know, red, rocky dirt.

For three and a half years I avoided those big ugly bumpers for that very reason. Finally saw the error of my ways before the eventual front end bashing.

Too bad I had to learn the hard way on the need for a high clearance rear bumper.

Before i go ahead and break my back or crush myself, does anyone know if the swing out on the BF rears are removable? I tried to pop the cap off to see if there is a bearing with a bolt in there but can't seem to get it off.

Yes you can. Don’t quite remember how the cap went on though (threaded or pressed). IIRC Billy uses a Chevy wheel bearing in there.

Thank you George. Must just need a little more elbow grease to pop it off.
