I have a one month old. What worked for me was placing the base and seat behind the front passenger seat and have my wife sit behind me. She wants to stay at his side. So I gained a backseat driver, but on the bright side she keeps him from crying.

Now I need to get a dog for the front passenger seat. Lol

So this is what the automatic car wash did to my truck today....thankful it didn’t do any major damage. Broke my license plate and broke some tabs off my lower trim panel. So frustrating.

Automatic car washes suck! Touchless is the only auto I will use, otherwise...hand washing is the only way.

I'll definitely be getting a retriever of some sort. I've had them and dachshunds since I was a baby, along with other hounds. The best co-pilot I have ever had was my last dachshund, Nick.

 

+1 on that Brother! I had one put a unfixable scratch the entire width of the drivers side window on my previous 4Runner. Never again!

Love my truck too much for it to get ruined. Will only hand wash from now on out. Luckily I did a quick temporary fix with double sided 3m tape and you can’t even tell it happened. Could have been a lot worse.

 

Added an ammo can for the recovery, hauling, and towing gear. Wanted to get it out of the cab.

 

Yea, you're better off. Even if all you can do is hit with the high pressure wand at the wash bay is better than those touch style washes.
