Okay, the exhaust went in and it was flawless after the right y pipe was sent. Only thing I had to do was cut the pipe before the muffler 2inchs. All hangers were in the right spots except there wasnt on for the drivers side which isnt necessary but I will probably weld one up - not a big deal Quality of the bends and welds were great - no need to clean up anything - no burrs - perfect. The truck sounds amazing and with the afe cold air intake and scoop, she feels good. I still have to flash the tune from OV and then we will get some vid on the sound. In the meantime heres some pics for yall. Thinking it was worth the waitIMG_20180112_115408.jpg IMG_20180112_115408.jpg IMG_20180112_115411.jpg IMG_20180112_130804.jpg IMG_20180112_130936.jpg IMG_20180112_131000.jpg IMG_20180112_131010.jpg IMG_20180112_130750.jpg

That's excellent you're capable of modifying the exhaust yourself to work properly (cutting and welding).
But in my book, URD still has work to be done... For what you're paying, the product should be 100% plug n' play; no modifications necessary.

Yeah, no way should this exhaust require any modification at all. Terrible

As long as this is going on, it seems that urd really needs to fire someone and get someone in there that can handle this.
This is really basic stuff to be honest. It's not very hard to measure and get welds and cuts correct and consistent.
Somebody is being lazy and half-assing it or they are in over their head.

Not too worried about cutting the exhaust. Its better to be too long and cut. Each truck is slightly different. Easier to remove than add. Also the hanger on the driver side probably isnt necessary. Not sure why they didnt add it - really thats my only complaint. Everything else was good.

Installed mine today. New Y-pipe worked like a charm. Overall, fit was pretty solid, a little off at the end past the muffler with the hangers. I think I probably could have cut the pipe like @Yzkiley, but it will be fine. Sounds pretty mean, but a little upset with all the pain involved. Read my ECU to get the flash from Matt @OVTune. Hope to see some pretty solid returns from the tune!

Okay, while I what for my tune from OV tune. I will add in an update on the exhaust. So far it been very good. It has a nice rumble down low and sounds like a beast past 3600rpm. I have been doing a lot of mountain driving lately and it just feels like its got a bit more giddy up and go and seems to hold the gears a little longer on steep hill climbs. Throttle response seems better and I honestly think my gas mileage has improved. Only thing bugging me is a bit of drone when climbing hills and some burble at that 3600 rpm area. Going to weld in a Vibrant ultra quiet resonator this weekend as I have heard it helps will also check over all connection points for leaks and weld if necessary. Once all thats been done and the tune has been flashed will post up a good review with video

I have noticed a distinct sound when I really get on it in the 3000-4000 range. Have you heard it? I want to say almost a rattle but that is not it. More like that sound you here coming from the shitty ricers. Does any of that makes sense/sound familiar?

Because it's the same variable valve timing those shitty ricers use.

Yep, thats what I was hearing, just need to quite it down a bit, hence the resonator to be installed this weekend. Hopefully the tune will dial the rest in

Do you have a link for the resonator?

And thanks for the info everyone. Would have never figured that out.

Not sure what you mean, rattle? Mine is more a drone and over loudness plus a burble type sound around the 3200 thru to around 4200 rpm range. Just welding in the resonator right now. Should be able to let you know shortly. I actually had a rattle caused from my air bag heat shield - super annoying and had to bend it so that it wouldnt touch the tail pipe.

I think it is more of a burble. It is like the noise you here coming from Honda civics with ricer exhausts but only in that same range you're talking about and if I am really giving it a lot of throttle. Let me know. If you could post a vid that would be super helpful...:D
