Sweet set up, I like that rear bumper wish they would make that in a HC bumper.

Thanks. Yea I like it as well since I can keep the stock tow hitch. I've actually been thinking of making it into high clearance bumper myself.

Changed oils today. Front/rear diff, transfer case, 5spd manual and engine oil.

Used just under 6 qts of 75w-90 Mobil 1 and under 3 qts of MT90. Shifts nice and smooth!

My rear diff was surprisingly clear except around the drain plug. These were on the magnet. They look like milling shavings. 20180119_105451.jpg

Front diff, transfer case and tranny were all also surprisingly clean.

Bought the truck 10k miles ago and it was due for the 90k, glad to see my PO took care of it.

Wait a minute... That wasn't the one that was on Craigslist posted by that overlander that ran out of money and was sick and shit, was it?

Looks nice though! I was really looking at a Cruiser before I bought my Tacoma... And after I bought my Tacoma... And probably before, during, and after I buy my next Tacoma...

In other news, it looks like I'll be replacing my fog lights... Just blew two fuses in a parking lot picking up dinner, so I guess I'm back to my stock bulbs assuming there's not a short between the harness and the fuse panel.

    Grumble grumble...

Not today, but I did this.
    DSCN9231.jpg

Hit it with a work platform on the forks backing around the building. Thank God I didn't hit the 8 year old picnic table I was watching:mad:

$1676 estimate and I carry a $1000 deductible. Question, whey you guy's "black out" your grill does that mean replacement of the chrome bezel?

You can probably find a hood and grille on craigslist for pretty cheap, get it painted and install yourself for under the $1000 deductible. If you find one that's already silver it could be super cheap.

I'm not sure what the sellers situation was, but he sold both of his 80s in the span of 2 days.
This is my 2nd FZJ80. My mom still has her LX450 and my dad had 2 FJ40s when I was younger. If you're going to get a Land Cruiser, the 80 series or 105 are the best.

The 80 series are a great platform, kinda miss my 91 but at 330k+ miles I felt like it was time To move on to something else.
