The same shit everyone else has.
Right. Use a product designed for rubber. 303 Aerospace is a good choice. Optimum Opti-bond is another slightly better option as its a little thicker than 303 and seems to last longer. Gummi Pflege Stift also works well

FYI...if you take in to have the door seals replaced per the TSB it'll more than likely fix both noises. i would try that before you
    go bending the doors etc.

Just to update: I just applied sil-glyde to both of the front doors and it's working for now. I will reapply in a couple days and hopefully it works for a while. I'm fine with having to reapply it every few months if necessary but I'm hoping it lasts at least 6 months. I would just have the TSB done but I have little faith in the dealer. They couldn't even balance my tires and I gave them three chances. They told me I had a bad wheel. Les-schwab did it in one try. @Plain Jane Taco Just curious, how long has it been since you did this?

Edit: never mind. I just saw that you posted about this fix in December.

I had the TSB done. New door seals. It fixed the crosswind kazoo sound (YES!). But did NOT fix the crinkling sound coming from the seal by my ear. It's exactly the same as it was before the New seals.

Another trick-- if you stick an index card up between the door seal and then body, the squeak will stop. I used this method to isolate exactly where the sound was coming from. Slide the card back and forth until you find the spot.

Checked at the dealer about the TSB yesterday. Was told the number is waaay longer than 4519. After searching for a few minutes he comes up with the one advising the new door seals. However, mine is over 36000 miles, therefore it will cost me $270 installed (ouch). Will start my search for other ways to fix it, since it happens so infrequently.

Strange question- will putting something like brake fluid or something else that will make rubber swell, help?

Don't dare put brake fluid on it! It will eat right through your paint. Have you tried the 303 or the Napa lube posted earlier? I'm going to try one of them as the silicone didn't last long for me and it's especially bad when it's cold out. Noisy as hell, but that's what the radio is for!

Thanks for the input, that’s why I asked. Am going to search out the other suggestions and try that. Not worth it to put $150 for parts or $270 installed, I probably won’t have it next year.

Just wanted to update, Sil-Glyde from Napa works well. I bought some this morning and rubbed it into all the weatherstripping. A very small amount goes a long way. Basically, you're conditioning the rubber with the Sil-Glide and a pea sized amount on your finger (wear a rubber glove for easy cleanup) can be spread out on the rubber and worked in. No more sticking noises at all.

Yeah mine has been good for about ten days. I'm really enjoying the silence.

I have to re-silgylde my seals probably once every 6 months or so. Not a big deal at all.

Just seen this. I have a 14 DCLB and i had that with both doors, don’t bend or warp your doors. Toyota has a replacement seal kit for that issue, if you’re still under warranty there should .be no cost. The new seals fixed my noise problem

New seals fixes the cross-wind kazoo noise... not the crinkling sounds.

I also just used the sil-glyde from napa. For the first time in at least five years I can't hear my door seals! One less clunk/squeak/rattle down.

Thread revival. I have been dealing with the tacky sound for months on and off. Just returned last week from a road trip. Going out, while it was cold, no noise. Coming back home, warmer outside, the tacky sound just about drove me batty after a while. Only happens on the driver's side door. I will try the sil-glyde.

I read on another thread on TW that the actual sticking is happening inside the weatherstripping itself, not on the outside...any input on that?

I had the same issue and tried several different solutions, including repeated cleaning, applying wax, frictionless tape, etc. and the creaking would always come back after a few weeks. Eventually I tried Factory Team Silicone Differential Fluid (5000 cst) and the stuff worked great! I apply it 1x per year and have been squeak free for the past 3 years. I figured I’d post this solution in the hope that I can help others avoid the frustration of trial and error with some of the other proposed solutions.
