    But but but LAND CRUISER!

    j/k
I know. Sequoia is on our list of models to check out. Like how its 3rd row sits 3 across VS 2 across in LC. BUT, not much aftermarket for Sequoia. Lots for the Land Cruiser.

My neighbor across the street is a fucking moron. Dude is outside trying to scrape the remaining ice off of his driveway with a shovel..... there's ice remaining on maybe 7% of his driveway. I'm like dude, you've left it alone until now... that shit will melt today.

Saw him almost bust his ass too. I keep looking out the window hoping he does. Dude's a dick.

Check out a sequoia. Horrible mileage but I'm assuming you already knew that...
I haven't shoveled my driveway at all... and I'm in Ohio with 5ish inches on the ground :anonymous:

Go ask him if he's ever heard of using a leaf blower with a heat gun near the intake to melt away ice. Then have a drink and watch him set himself on fire.

I've never used mpg as a real criteria when car shopping. Never really cared. Prefer hp over mpg.

Blurted an idea to the wife and she's actually willing to go along...
Keep her Highlander for now rather than trade it and I buy an older gen Sequoia or other big SUV that I can get for cheap. Like under $4k including cost of any new parts it needs. Once I'm satisfied with a thorough shakedown, it can become the family camping mobile and general beater. If not happy, sell it for what I put into it.

Found a few prior gen Sequoias with ~200k miles for under $5k.
A few hundred bucks for timing belt, balljoints, brakes, and general tune-up should make one reasonably reliable to get kids out to the woods I'm thinking.

You said he has a wife? It's more about being out of the house.....away from her....than it is about snow/ice. BTDT
