Yea. Also, I would not be able to adjust the lights once they are welded as well... just sucks people have to steal.

Ugh, find the right job and enjoy work and life while you are young, why wait until you are “retired?” to enjoy it?

Buy a kayak or Mtn bike, they look cool on a Taco and are good for you to use, also! best yet- you will meet the most amazing people doing outdoor activities like that, it’s how I met my wife.

Agreed, although thinking about retirement is important. I think the biggest thing is to have a balance. Being able to look back at the great times and memories you had during your youth while enjoying a decent retirement.

I have icon 2.5's up front and 5100's out back at the moment. My suspension can be a tad stiff at 30 or below... 40 mph it likes a lot, over 40 can get a bit sketchy. I am looking to put king on there as I have a need for more damper. But may go with fox. All three are good but don't forget about ADS they are respectable as well. I like my icon set up and have not driven on a king suspension or fox, as that would be my first step in deciding if I am going to change it out. I like to go a little fast and the icons gave handled everything I have thrown at it so far. Full disclosure though I am a 2wd no locker sr5 daily driver work vehicle. I ride her hard and put her away dirty.

The caps would b pricey for what it takes to paint them, but u can always plastidip. I will eventually buy a black set and have them painted silver for mine. Like the color look better. Wasn’t worth getting the package just to get colored caps for me.

I say get some suspension or guns. As many as 1,000 will get ya. :)

Do you know if the compression adjusters can make the ride smoother than stock? I don't think stock is bad at all. I've never riden in a Tacoma with a after market suspension or even the TRD pro suspension. If I go king do you recommend compression adjusters both front and back?

How much do you think the caps would cost?

Pm Gary over at camelback Toyota @gunny1005 for those and not not sure about the compression adjusters. Compressing the spring just gives lift and with further you compress the the ride will stiffen up. King tends to feel like your floating as they absorb everything.

With install? Obviously this will void a warranty?

Upgrading suspension should not void warranty.

Buy something so you feel like you did something to the truck, take the rest and put it into a medium risk mutual, add $whatever a month to it until you have enough to do what you want to the truck. Other priorities come first of course. Keep adding to it for whatever you want to use it for. It's separate from your retirement fund. It's your I Need To Have Fun fund. Use it for vacations, whatever, but don't dump all your extra cash into a retirement fund and never enjoy your life. If you do you won't like your retirement either.
