first off, a sincere thank you to all for the info that got me to where I'm at. this place has been my goto for info and helping me get into my new ride.

after 10yrs in an 03 tundra I'm looking out the window at my Canuckistani special, 16 OR AC MT in sand. Always been a sucker for the all black "mclfy" but the sand def grew on me.

anyway, I didn't want to clog up the board with repeat questions, but I've been reading every night and haven't found answers to my specifics....maybe because I get sidetracked with all the other mods I'll do when it warms up. New Brunswick is cold this time of year.

I can build a lot of stuff, but don't really mess with trucks mechanically and have an awesome mechanic down the road (winter is for renos, id rather be fishing when its nice enough to work on the truck)

    what I do:
    - I fish a lot, guide sometimes
    - not a daily driver (have a company suv) so taco is for weeknights and weekends
    - towing the boat short distances (30mile trip 3-4x a week) on pavement 85% of the time June-october
    - april-june use is pretty much all in the woods, fields, rough back roads and trails without the boat behind (mud, rock, gravel)
    - winter she won't go far but will see some back roads with snow

    towing:
    20'x70" cc John with 90hp
    Boat (hull): 1125lb
    Motor: 359
    Fuel (20 gallon): 126lb
    Batteries: 50x4=200lb
    Gear: 200lb
    Trailer:900lb
    Total:2910
and calculator said around 870 tongue wt as i measured to the back of the motor which is technically the load I'm hauling

nothing too crazy will be in the bed most trips. occasionally it will be loaded for camping with some wood/water/gear

I hope to do this once, the right way.

open to any and all suggestions....but keep in mind I'm in Canada, I can get a deal through the PORN club at my local 4wheelparts, don't trust their advice. I'd call Mary but don't want to waste someones time if I'm not buying there.

Looking to go about 2" lift I'm cool with level, I like a small rake, no way in hell I'm rocking a bro lean.

so need some help with my shopping list....

    - the full OME kit with Dakars is looking good: do I go heavy? med? what springs up front? (may add a winch down the line)

    front:
-ECGS needle replacement bushings (for sure right? will my mechanic need me to order the special tool?)
    - do I need a driver side spacer for taco lean? (I'm around 230lb)
    - do I need UCAs? just to be safe?, recommendations?

    rear:
    - timbrens flip kit? or maybe sumos? would rather set and forget as opposed to bags

anything else I'm missing or should consider?
there's enough info on tires and wheels I can figure that one out

please note: all OR chrome will be promptly killed post aforementioned winter conditions

    cheers

Heavy is for a constant load i would not do that. I tow a 18’ bass boat now with HS-3 add a leaf. Medium dakars are fine. If your adding 150lbs or more in front then go with 886 springs and 9000 firm shocks. If just a hidden winch mount and winch thats around 70 lbs no need for hevier ome springs. In this case to achieve level like you want do the taller 888 springs and sport soft shocks

If you order kit from Headstrong offroad it comes assembled with the driver lean packer already on it. You need this.

Ecgs bushing. This is hit or miss save money for now. Do it when you need it or when your opening up that area to save money. My vote is wait for now on that.

Flip kit from my understanding just creates a bit of clearance. I dont need anything special in rear for a 18’ bass boat. Any heavier and somethig more would of been good though. No advice on this area.

ok man, really appreciate the feedback! I think I'll go with the ECGS regardless, a lot of people said they had issues within a few miles of their lift.

When you say bass boat I take it you mean fibreglass? if so I feel good about your advice as thats probably coming in heavier than my aluminum rig.
    cheers

Yes fiberglass bass boat 18’ single axle trailer with a large 4stroke 90hp mercury and loaded with gas and three batteries.i did not need the ecgs bushing so far im on 4k with lift and zero vibes. I am installing new gears in a few weeks and shop is doing ecgs for free so thats only reason im doing it. If you wanna do it for piece of mind the go for it. If you think along those lines you absolutely need upper control arms. I have lr spa’s. Did not have them at first but after adding them it was a night and day difference in way sterring felt even though alignment was “within specs”
