It should be noted that these coilovers will not only lift the front of a 3rd gen 1" to level the truck out, but I'm fairly certain they also fix the Taco lean. Notice the gap between the sticker and the coil on the left coilover versus the right coilover.

I just saw the pictures you posted. That's a shame that someone was that careless with them, that would certainly bother me too. They didn't look like that in the eBay ad. You might consider taking it up with eBay. However, I do know that the original owner is a TW member. I remember running into his post where he said he was going to put them on eBay.

You might also want to check out HeadStrong Off-road Kits
    https://www.headstrongoffroad.com/store/p199/FOX_Level_2_Kit -_05__Tacoma.html
I think this is the equivalent to the TRD pro suspension, but without the internal bypass. If nothing else, you should chat with HeadStrong and get your kit from them.

    Good luck!

Yeah, I’m very disappointed. Yes there was only 1 picture on the listing, but even zoomed in, I couldn’t see that cosmetic damage. I’m always up front about this sort of thing when I sell an item, wish everyone was.

Huh. Toyota said it was one character short. What did you run it through?

Well, looks like no one interested in my scraped up TRD PRO suspension. I’ll just get it installed and maybe replace it in a couple years with Some newer ones.

face the scrapes inward if you can. You'll never see em.

I'd try peeling all of the graphics off. After that, I think it looked like there were only a couple scrapes. Probably wouldn't be noticeable after that.

Kings, 275/70/17, a few custom items, lots of Meso mods.
Get a hold of Fox and see if you can get new decals. Would fix most of that?

This is actually a brilliant idea. Reach out to the forum members on here that do custom vinyl printing and see if you can get some custom vinyl decals to cover the existing decal locations AND the scratches. You could end up with something rather awesome.

I’ve been trying to get over the fact that you bought a used set of shocks, (for $1600) something that’s going to get banged up and dirty if you ever crawl away from the mall but you remain hesitant to mount them up because the superficial blemishes. Blemishes that you would have to turn the wheels to max, get down on a knee and then seek out.

What would you do if you got a door ding from the mall? Pin-striping from some brush on the side of a trail? Scratches behind the door handles from all the hoes trying to climb onboard?

    What then man!!?? What then....
