Thanks. I would definitely get some bigger tires. Is a lift needed at all? I want a minor lift, but don’t want to go too big (maybe 2” max). And do they stick out wide to the side at that size?

Also, what do you mean drill the wheels for PCD?

Thanks. I’d tell you your truck is badass, but I know everyone else says that and I don’t want it to go to your head.

Hey there. Have you gotten yours yet? I'm looking at the same size and curious what they look like in person.

:facepalm:My bad haha looked right over it assuming it was the guy that had his custom drilled for the offset. Awesome man! Those the falken mt??? If so that the exact set up I'll be going with. Just wanted to make sure the -18mm offset didn't sink the hub far back. I don't like that deep dish look at all.

Here is a side shot to show how much poke they have. With stock flares they sit about ~1" out. With my bushwacker flares they sit flush. Yes they are Falken M/T's. Very happy with them

Also @mesojdm what's the road noise like on the MT? I have the old gen AT so was thinking of the new AT3W but with going with such an aggressive wheel I've decided to go to the MT but just curious on road noise.

They are my first set of MT's so nothing to compare. But they are very tolerable. No Weird or loud noises. Also helps that I sound deadened the interior with dynamat.

Oh dang. Yeah I bet that helps tons with that. Buddy of mine did his whole truck for his stereo system and it's magic in his cab now.

Hey guys, I'm a newbie here at TW. I'm in love with the black rhino armory wheels in gunblack. I have a stock 2017 OR DCSB. I've been scouring all the threads to learn about fitment.

What are some tire combinations you guys have been running that work with the Armory with a stock Taco without having to modify the vehicle? I apologize if this was already specified.

So you can call black rhino and have them make a custom offset for you. Alot depends on what tire you want. To stick with the stock 265 70 17 then the 17x9.5 with a 0mm offset would be fine. I think that's a wheel that's available from most of their distributors. I have a leveling kit on my truck. I left the rear alone so that's factory height and I raised the front 2". I'm currently running the 17x9.5 with -18mm offset and it's wrapped with a 285 70 17 falken wildpeak mt. I have ALOT of rubbing but I needed the extra tire size for when I off road. I've done the cab mount cab but still rub on the front bumper. But it looks bad ass so it's all worth the trimming. I dealt with wheel warehouse for the wheels. I'm from Texas so it was tax free and free shipping. Again I love my stance and over all look. I don't rub much driving forward and turning but reverse is bad!!! Sounds like my bumper is going to get ripped off hahaha I attached some pics of my set up. You may be able to go up to a 265 75 17 without rubbing. But I would research that first.

Also their center caps are very cheap looking in my opinion so I have opted to leave them off. They are plastic and attached by two bolts. Plus I just like the "unfinished" look with them off.

When I was initially shopping for wheels and tires I had settled on the falken wildpeak at3w but once I saw the armory wheel and wanted it I knew I need an equally aggressive looking tire to match the looks of the armory. I love them so far. Handle pretty well and seem quite for the tread pattern. I've ridden in my friends taco that's got the pro comp mt and those are some noisy bastards.

I was looking into the wildpeak at/3 as well. Do they fit the Armory? I started looking into this on a rim and tire size calculator.

It depends on wjat size rim the 265 will allow you to mount and that's where you'll possibly get into a custom wheel by black rhino. I know for a 285 wide tire the wheel widths range from 7 to 10 inches. So the 9.5 worked for me. Now for a 265 it may be tough to stretch onto a 9.5 wide wheel. I think the falken website will tell you that information or discount tire website. I have seen and heard of a 17x9" armory wheel out there with a -6mm offset but never on a website just on someone's truck already.

Did you just take a steel wheel and add bead locks to it? Forgive me for my dumb question of its common

 sweet. Definitely doing this over dropping the cash for premade beadlocks

Have to say, it's a lot of fun/work. Fun and more bang for the buck for "DIY" beadlocks but not for beginners. Work great though!!

It totally makes sense I just never thought of it. This will definitely be on my list of things to do in the next couple of months
