    Those mix horribly with vermouth.

I think you need to rethink your drinking choices.

    Get better!

Bourbon hot tottie...wifey makes an awesome one. That being said, I don't get sick often...methinks it's the copious amount of bourbon I drink as a precautionary measure. Fvck the surgeon general and his moderation.

    Bourbon 1+ oz
    Honey teaspoon or 2
    Boiling water

Add more bourbon and less water depending on desired effect

Thanks. I’ll have to try that!

I have a couple of Myers lemons I could add too. Guy at work grows them and they’re a little on the sweet side.

Worth the trip just for the bottle. Thankfully the bourbon is good too.

Perhaps I am a snob. I’m also of an age and well enough travelled so that the generic American beers (Miller, Budweiser, Coors) really don’t do it for me. They can’t. I find them thin and tasteless. I feel the same way about coffee - keep that Maxwell House and Folgers shit away from me.

I blame my years in the service forced to two scenarios: only having thin beer and green coffee available, or exposed to wonderfully creative and flavorable alternatives. Much like how the French Revolution changed life for the lower classes, now that I have known that there is more out there I am not content with the same old same old.

Do you need to know, or care?
Snob 2! I have a Keurig coffee maker with gourmet coffees. Don't like the traditional coffee as they tend to have bitter taste. Find the same with beers, I much prefer those from our local small specialty breweries who brew more different varieties with much more taste.
