After replacing the IAC on cold start the truck barely idles less than 500 for a minute then it’s fine. Afr’s at 10 then eventually go to 14.7 When it’s warm idle is a little high 800-900 rpm in gear 1200-1400 in N. Do I need to adjust something?

should be around 650-800 for normal idle. My v6 auto goes to 500ish in gear. im not familiar with the 3rz though so idk if you have an adjustment screw.

Just curious. It is the portal into the trucks soul, and may be telling of an issue.

How many miles have you put on it since you unplugged the battery? There is a learning time for the ECU as well so this may be a potential as well.

Well i tried to track down my vacuum leak today. Found nothing with the vape si i decided id throw the ebrake on and stand on the brakes and build some boost while my wife sprayed soapy water... Side note, stock drums are good for at most 0 psi cuz i dug a 10" wide hole as soon as i started building boost and so i didnt do that long... It still builds some boost and thats better than nothin i guess

@MrCrowntown I took several snapshots of EngineLink right when I started the truck all the way to home so this one is right when I started after sitting 2 1/2 hrs. Idling just barely with afr’s at 9.00-10.00. right at start up
CDAD1B59-9F68-4E4A-ABD6-82E7E8FC18D3.jpg Then shortly after that afr’s at 14.7 more or less.
F51F74CE-AB35-4A0C-A70F-803810CA2659.jpg This was almost warmed up idling.
    38546E08-D00D-4085-B6C7-3FC717668051.jpg
    This was part throttle
    5A09E05F-2586-4E8C-B094-6640EB2E45A5.jpg Full throttle

A203325B-3D37-4282-98DA-B3713768BED8.jpg Last but not least idle warmed up in gear then out of gear

Sometimes you can have a "vacuum leak" despite nothing drawing or leaking from the atmosphere.

    No shaft play, correct?

I assumed i have a vacuum leak due to the fuep trims being wonkie in high vacuum but normalizing as they approach 0 psi

    It still builds boost though?

Pictures of your PCV routing? Did we already check this?

Fairly normal for a 5vzfe. Approaching too hot though.

New radiator will know it down to 190 most likely.

I'm 195 - 200 and want it cooler. I put the stupid fan sensor at the bottom of the radiator (IAW instructions) so the fan doesn't respond too well to engine temps.

ah. Well that is a good temp range to be in. Could just move the sensor perhaps. Or get a new radiator. If you have over 150k it can't hurt anyways.

Yeah it builds boost ~4psi on a 7.5 spring. Pcv is t'd passenger and driver side then run to catch can vented to atm. I used the manifold port of the pcv for some boost lines (fpr, and wastegate)

You need something to tune your bigger injectors, I hate to beat this in again but you are not going to get it to run right with out something like an AEM FIC.

Your idle is low when you first start cause you are in open loop and running rich.

I am surprised you have not got a check engine light for bank 1 to rich.
