I can’t remember if I posted in here but this is what it looks like with 37’s. As soon as these get to about half tread I’m swapping back to 35’s. 37’s looks cool but that’s about it.

Test fit 37s today. Was able to turn half way each direction before rubbing. Definitely going to require beating the shit out of the firewall and cutting fenders.

Was it necessary to pull the inner fender and disregard?

Well I am struggling with the same issue. The problem is once you cut the fenders, tabs that hold the plastic liner in place are gone. I am not throwing away the plastic liner yet. I think what I am going to do is weld that one inch piece of fender that was cut that has tabs in it to the interior of fender. I tried that yesterday and seems like it might work with little modification.

    For those with 35s....

Does anyone have time to measure from the ground to to edge of the tailgate with the tailgate down?

What springs are you running or plan to run? All our numbers will be different as most of us have very different setups to include bed weight. I can still get mine for you when it warms up in a few hours.

Well the truck I'm looking at purchasing has a pro comp 6inch lift with what the best I can tell is running stock shocks. It's a cclb if that helps. No weight will be in most the time other than fire fighter gear

Also, no way in hell are the stock shocks being run on a 6” lift. The rear is lifted by a 4” block in most cases and that’ll quickly reach the limits of a stock length rear shock

    Yep 6” ProComp drop bracket.
Front suspension is the stock coilover plus a 6” spacer to make up the difference the DB and new spindle give you.
Rear should be a 4” block and new longer shocks.

Is this a good way to do it or am I better off buying stock and going another route with lift?

Do lifts like this on 35s fit in a 7 foot tall residential garage door?

Definitely not getting into those arguments here.
Not sure about the door. Haven’t tried.
