    Stuck ..... playing in the mountains with the wrong machine 121'' track

    There used to be a group of us that used to go few times a year even took a trip every year with lady friends

    Had lots of fun me and my wife miss it, and hopefully recreate it up to future cabin with friends and family ......

    Looks awesome. One of my friends is avid snowmobiler. He goes out just about every weekend in the winter (no kids). He's been bugging me for a few years to go with him, some day maybe.

    So 4 Paw came with me Saturday morning to go work on family taco in the garage at my work, timmmmms coffee first then terra ran around the office smelling everything

    Ok girl got in the truck and started drivers side tie rod end. Nut came off and pickel fork hammered in to separate the tie rod end from the spindle. Heat had to be applied to convince the lock nut and the tie rod to want to move

    Link to show how much play was in the drivers side tie rod end. Holy cow is all I can say this truck ball joints and tie rod ends were a ticking time bomb

    Girl looking out the window down at my every move. Put the new one on. It was not fitting right but I got the nut night and the pin in. YES I KNOW LESSON LEARNED
    I put the tie rod in upside down fml I wasn’t paying attention. The spindle is tapered cone shaped and the the tie rod end is also tapered that fits respectively. I put it together and forced it. I am very lucky I did not damage anything. Once I realized I took it apart inspected for damage and then reinstalled with the nut on top.


    Lesson learned

    Outer tie rod ends are same price moog and oem dude haha but oem not greasable. OEM are like 45 bucks. Just got them priced out at the dealer

    Did u buy a in line fuel filter to install? I know there's a filter built in to the oem fuel pump. It's suppose to be good for the life of the truck but I wish there was an in line fuel filter. With all the crap ins the gas now a days
