    In the spirit of a blacked out look, I painted the PCB board and changed the hardware to black.
    If I didn't have a BD 3rd brake right now... I'd be all over installing this. It looks SEXY

    Oh my goodness, that looks awesome. I'm really digging that black ocb board. I've shared with team and everyone likes it alot and we're looking into that as a possibility (ensuring it doesn't diminish output first, then feasibility)!

    They won't be empty I'm guessing. Likely a bolt head from the outside (a nice, rounded button head would look great) and then a but on the backside to keep it all tight. Just my guess as to how it is secured.

    A black PCB board would make these look really stealth. The white is kind of an eye sore IMO.
    It's easy for the manuf. to change PCB board color before assembly(I've had it done for other projects) and I don't think much light will be lost from doing it. Because the KC design is just SMD's, the board doesn't affect the light output at all. If anything it will be a LITTLE dimmer because of the light reflecting back(internally) off the outside lens. Also black hardware is a must!

    And yes, there will be bolts in the center holding them down. I just haven't figured out what size I want to use. The I.D of the Cylone is fairly large ~.375", so I need to source a nice black button head to fit in there. But it's turning out great!

    Spray the entire face with krylon black paint. Then wipe the tops of the LEDS with acetone on a cloth. I've done it many time on other LED boards and no issues.
