Review: This review is for the 3rd gen taco. You will need the smaller clamp. It does not fit tight around the axle what so ever. The boot will slide around like butter and the grease will leak... False info your giving out sir!

Anyone here doing the inner boot stretch mod? How's it holding up and did it help?

@fatfurious2 did it. Just cut the metal band, pulled it down, and used a hose clamp to secure it. Hasn't moved since.

@SDHQ OFFROAD so I bought this kit to reboot my OEM shafts. I finally got around to rebooting them two weeks ago and had them installed on the truck last week. I purchased the grease from you guys as well. I left the shop and went straight home by the time I got home I checked the shafts, as my concern was if the grease was going to come out of the boot without a clamp. I had grease coming out and so I called tech support to make sure it was normal. The lady I talked to said it was normal and that the boot just had to purge and to keep running it for about a week and check again. Well I checked it again today and although its not quiet a week yet I am not impressed with what I found. So my question is how is this normal and how do I have any clue as to how much grease I have left in my boots? What would you recommend I do at this point? I have a attached pics of what I found today.20180430_180437.jpg 20180430_180453.jpg 20180430_180506.jpg

I can't really tell, is there a clamp on the shaft?

Not on the smaller part of the boots. They say that the boot is made tight enough for the shaft that you dont need a clamp and thats why they dont ship one with it.
