    Heh...weird. I'm pretty sure we were still all sitting around the campfire at that time. Either that or we had just turned in. Didn't seem that cold. Low 40s maybe, but nothing that extreme. :notsure:

    Haha, since I tend to be nocturnal normally, that's usually when I try to hit Walmart if I must go at all.

    No one was up when I left, pretty sure it was the night some chick was yelling up a storm while everyone else was sleeping. That was probably what woke me up and tossed and turned for a hour or two til I said screw it.

    This year looks like low of 59 Saturday night and low to mid 70s during the day.

    Yeah, we were all awake for that down at the "cool kids" campfire. That bit of drama happened at Thorny Mike's campsite, I think, which was right near where you and John were camped. It was a while after that before we all turned in.

    Mutual Mine is open? Cool. It's usually closed every time I've been by there, which in fairness has only been once or twice. Unless you have dogs, though, Tillis Hill would have probably been better, assuming they aren't booked solid as well. I think Mutual Mine is strictly primitive camping...no power or water hook-ups.

    Mutual Mine has water and nice sites. No electric but the house battery in the camper will keep the lights on. The fridge and heater can both run on propane so it's not a huge deal. I've never been to Tillis Hill...might have to check that one out while we're down there.

    It's actually a nicer campground than Holder Mine--bigger and more bathhouses, paved pads to park your camper on, and it's better manicured in general. They just don't allow dogs there because it's the campground for the horseback riders. Guess they figure dogs and horses don't mix or something. Also the park ranger doesn't mess with you as much; the first couple of Annual Meets I went to we stayed there and I never saw the lady.
