Got the rear leaf TSB last week, and installed 5100's at 1.75" to level her out. Also put 5100's on the rear. Big thanks to gtmiller 1001 for helping me install them and drink beer.

Also decided to paint my rims black. They are BBS RW's 18x9. Truck looks like a panda now but I like it!

To see the progress I've made with my truck over the last 8 months, check out my build thread.

Very nice setup. The rims look very nice also. How is the ride quality after the addition of the 5100's?

    Rustoleum semi-gloss black

It's a little bit stiffer, but in a good way. I feel way less roll in corners compared to stock.

i got a steal on mine, by the time i sold the tires that came with the rims, i only have
    $235 in the rims.

x2. I'm thinking of painting my FJ wheels black also, but don't know how they'll hold up.

Sand, prime, paint. Is that the way you did yours?

Yep, cleaning the wheels was the most time consuming part. Then I sanded with a 120 grit sanding block, two coats of rimer, 3 coats of semi-gloss. Holding up fine so far (2 weeks ).

I love them. They were much less expensive than the BFG AT's and I couldn't find a single person who had anything bad to say about them.

They are real quiet on the road, have an aggressive tread pattern, and they were also some of the very few AT's that come in the size I needed (265/65/18).
