Ordered an Apex Optimized grip and Maglula for my Scorpion, along with some target from Optics Planet on the 9th. They just made a shipping label for it today. When I asked the status yesterday, they said the comment section required them to take more time to process. I guess when you leave it blank, they cant figure out what to do.

Then the bucket is probably your best bet. if you can get ahold of some C channel to put on the front of the 4X4, It would last a little longer. Because your friend WILL shoot the SHIT out of your 4X4! LOL

I will testify that ALL of my AR500 plating has come off of E-bay & I have never had a single complaint about them. Iv'e used several sellers & have grown 375 cheytac"s at them under 100 yards with out even a dimple. ( OK, maybe a very small dimple:D)

SURE! airguns have taken out A many of squirrel, chipmunk, leaves & windows!
You should see my neighbors hanging stuffed animal range specifically for air gunning. Its actually a little creepy when you drive by & see all of them hanging all over the propety,

I liked the idea of 'folding' stand. The wood would need to be replaced at some point but would likely hold up fairly well and easy/cheap to fix.

Bought a bipod (still being shipped) for my AR15 chambered in 7.62 build. It's the last thing I have left to complete it. I also bought a new charging handle to replace the milspec one.

Took me three months to find do all the dimensions/measuring, modifying parts to fit dimension, and put it all together, but its light and going to be used for hunting deer and hogs.

This one is with the milspec charging handle, as you can see its hard to get to with the scope and that is using a powered red dot:

    AR15.jpg

I swapped to this charging handle that basically doubles as a cheek rest and its much easier to slide back (its sits perfectly on top of most stocks and you can adjust how far back the cheek rest sits):

I would have preferred to bring home a real gun, but I can't shoot squirrels in the backyard with a real gun...soooo....this fit the bill...i need to sight it in but I test fired it and it runs right around 85dB...so super quiet...i'm hoping I can dial in the accuracy sharp enough to do what I want

Haven't taken it out hunting yet. Still have to run "torture" test to make sure everything feeds properly with no hiccup, but been so busy with the new truck that I kind of put it off in the back burner.

My neighbors nitro air gun is pretty darn accurate out the 50 yards, but it definitely depends on what pellets he is using

I understand: I will be taking my newly completed .300 BLK Hog hunting next week. I hope to put some much needed Sausage in the Freezer.

Have you guys thought about using the steel pole and stand set up, using these,
    https://m.ebay.com/itm/AR500-Pipe-Target-Brackets-4-Brackets/332495570762?_trkparms=aid=555018&algo=PL.SIM&ao=2&asc=20171010182013&meid=a6622b69c9ad43b4b6a7461a545731ae&pid=100890&rk=2&rkt=12&mehot=pp&sd=292181134002&_trksid=p2056116.c100890.m2460
And these to hang your targets on,
    https://m.ebay.com/itm/AR500-Pipe-Target-Hooks-10-Hooks/332495570766?_trkparms=aid=555018&algo=PL.SIM&ao=2&asc=20171010182013&meid=a6622b69c9ad43b4b6a7461a545731ae&pid=100890&rk=1&rkt=12&mehot=pp&sd=292181134002&_trksid=p2056116.c100890.m2460
And Poles you get at Home Depot for the horizontal Cross Pull and the legs? They actually set up and breakdown very fast and kind of looks like this stand that I put together only all steel and no 2 x 4

I wish I can go hog hunting for sausage =/ My SO is a health freak and the mention of pork/sausage would get me an ear full of how fatty they are... Compromise was once a week for bacon and sausage, which one whole hog would be enough to last me a whole year lol.

I just tried this out today and liked it. Just cut electrical conduit to about 5'. I like the hook in the back of the 2x4 holder to hang my target.
