    I did my dealer survey for the new Tundra today, and as part of it, was asked what factors would prevent me from buying a Prius. I checked Other, then in the text box, typed "Because I wouldn't f*cking ever be seen in one."

    That should put me on the "do not contact" list for Toyota... :rofl::rofl::rofl:

    @riz_atx @ChadsPride @Texoma @Tynan and others...

    Looking at venues for the next FarOutDoors Meetup. I contacted Simon Properties, regarding the secluded lot that the Barton Creek Farmers Market uses every Saturday. Great city view, plenty of parking, but they want liability insurance and a signed lease (from couple hundred $ to thousands depending on volume)... A little early for that. Here it is: https://www.google.com/maps/place/Z...182a199b2e5fad!8m2!3d30.2669624!4d-97.7728593

    So I started looking at city parks. I'm thinking the Polo Picnic Area at Zilker may be a good spot. $60 to reserve for up to 100 people and we can cook. It's currently open on Feb. 4th so I'm thinking I want to try it out (not reserve, but just show up) and then start renting it out every month as the meetups grow, if people like the spot. We could also use that spot as an excuse to hit up the Frolf course or go mountain biking.

    Thoughts? Any other central Austin places to look at?

    It’s been over a year since I’ve even driven or been in her car. I kept asking her about her oil change interval and she kept saying “don’t worry honey, I’ve got it.”

    She didn’t got it.

    So after I get this thing taken care of I’ll wash and wax it and hit it with some Meguiar’s black restorer...

    ...and promptly not drive it again for another 5000 miles.

    Ok, Prius is taken care of. Dealership price matched Toyota of Dallas (TRDParts4U) plus shipping on the bed mat, so I will have a 6’ bed mat on Tuesday.

    OME Kit from @HeadStrong Off-Road OME 887, 90021s and LR/SPC UCAs up front, 60091s and Dakar 96 HDs in the rear. @Wheeler's Off-Road Inc u-bolt flip and F/R bumpstops. Install by @Texoma 2 weeks ago. Tires are 255/85/16 Cooper ST MAXX. Truck is sitting about 5" higher than stock with new suspension and tires. Rear swing-out bumper from C4 Fab is due in Feb and should settle the rear nicely.

    Center of hub to fender numbers with typical load-out: Alu-cab canopy, James Baroud RTT, 200 lbs of cargo = 500+ daily load.
    Pre: Front 20.5, Rear 20.25
    Post: Front 22.25, Rear 23.5

    Handles great with current alignment numbers, but may try bumping caster to 3.0 as recommended by @Texoma
    Getting 15-17MPG (actual) with current configuration and full load.

    Truck's looking good Tim. Def get them to squeeze more caster out of it. 3*-3.5* is best for a lift. Forget which side needs to be more to account for road crown, bit the tech ought to know if he's good. Let me know if you need anything.

    With at least two weeks notice I can get us in to one of the LVPOA parks, free of charge. I would need an estimated head count.

    Yesterday was pretty successful with the rear diff. Really, I think I got lucky though. I got the backlash right on first try, and got pinion depth in the acceptable range first try. Pinion preload took a few tries, and I'm glad that I got a solid spacer instead of a crush sleeve. I got it all back in and test drove, truck has it's power back now for sure. Got the front diff out and disassembled last night, gonna be working on getting that figured out today.
