so yesterday was a momentous day for me
I convinced a "self proclaimed payment princess" (the lifted 1500) to go mudding
of course he wussed out after one to two good puckers
first time he ever went off road and says he will never go mudding again but I have convinced him that he wants a trail rig now

    Topic: Lighting.

This is the old set up. DOT approved fog lights, mounted on winch mount just above shackle pad eyes. And some smaller off road lights mounted to a kit that fit the stock bumper lights.

This is the new set up. Bumper only has cut outs for the DOT fog lights. Had the two smaller lights sitting on the work bench. Truck is still wired for them, and the bumper was already drilled in this spot so thought I’d try them out. They are right above the winch hawse. Trying to decide if they look lame located there, or if I should move them outboard since I’ve decided to angle them out to see better for upcoming turns. If I keep them there I’ll need some kind of shim so they sit flat, and then the beam angle is better.

He got them from his godparents for Christmas and has been asking me every day to start building them. Wife said she was gonna do it.

Then I envisioned 1400 pcs of unorganized plastic spread out all over the place. So here I am

I just envision that 1400th piece that isn’t found until I’m walking around the house barefoot and find that little booby trap laying on the rug. :annoyed:
