Snowy day plus a sore back plus a mouse equals it'll be a design day.

Site for the house is good enough where if I wanted to do a public hearing to add a second smaller house at the front of the property, there would be room.

Storage building is going to be a three sided storage barn for extra building materials. It'll also double as a windbreak for the greenhouse.

    Greenhouse for the foods!

Now time to work on the actual floor plan so I can get plumbing/electrical drawings figured out.

Hey Brandon, are you switching over to battery nailers or going with air?

Probably stick with mostly air. We've got a ton of nail guns.

Battery stapler and pin nailers would be nice, but not at the top of the list since we usually have a compressor nearby.

I am however going to be stocking up on most of the dewalt 20/60/120v stuff as we need it for jobs. Its so nice using the 60v batteries on 20v stuff, runs forever. The issue with the battery powered nailers that i've seen (at least the dewalt that I used to use sometimes is you have to use a special dewalt angled nail. Thats useless, you need to have it work with standard nails.

And we've got a few big steel buildings on the schedule including my house, so the next big purchase might have to be a fork truck or crane to assist with assembly. :burp: And something to tow it with.

Has it been discussed yet to put a radio shack on your property with a repeater station?
