Just an SDT lift. It's a cheapo lift and I'll upgrade it later but it'll work for now

Thanks. Yeah I'm actually getting rid of both of them. I liked them at first but not too much now

I think I'm going to be picking up some of those sliders soon. Skids are well worth it, the stock ones are garbage.

Hey guys, so I have a bit of a dilemma. Heres my post from reno4x4:

My cousin is coming to stay with us for a little while so we can help him get back on his feet. He has a full grown pit bull with him, he's a nice dog and has lived with us before without a problem. The reason he can't stay with us this time is we have a german shepherd who is pretty protective and doesn't like new dogs in his home. They would probably be fine for a while but we wouldn't trust leaving them home alone together. If anybody has any suggestions for where my cousin's dog can stay while he's in town I would appreciate it. I would prefer it if he could take the dog somewhere where he could visit him, and get him back once he gets his own place here.

If you guys could offer any suggestions I would appreciate it, I don't know who else to ask. Thanks in advance.

He could buy a kennel for the pit so whenever nobody is home he can stay in there. But not a cheap Amazon one. My husky has torn it apart. Spend the money on one from pet smart or petco

Short of a very nice person offering to foster (which I wouldn't trust someone to do for a lot of reasons) getting a kennel would be the cheapest easy option. Most local boarding facilities won't do long term boarding.

I've been looking at some craigslist kennels and found some pretty good ones. Thanks!

At first I was hoping to find someone to foster but I wouldn't trust many people who aren't family and friends. The kennel seems like a viable option but we'll have to see how the dogs get along first.

Thank you for the suggestion we're going to give these guys a call!

If you have a yard or even garage space I would recommend a 6x6 kennel. It will give him room to move around and go to the bathroom. It would be a safe place for him to spend all day. If he is used to being left alone already it should work perfect. Just put him in their for short periods at first while you are home, an hour or so, and increase the time over a few days while periodically giving him treats. Also if you feed him in there it will make getting him in a snap. Good luck.

I have a spare kennel you could borrow. One of the metal ones that collapses.

Hey guys, we've been in SoCal just about three years and are more than ready to tap out. Looking to head to the Reno area but we're a little dubious of creeping californiaism... We were looking towards Minden/Gardnerville or Fernley/Fallon. I don't want to start a politics thread and get anyone or myself put in the corner for CoC violations so feel free to take it to a PM or Group PM. Any and all input would be appreciated, thanks.

Love it here so far Bob. Our first choice was the Minden/Gardnerville area, but due to limited jobs in that area in the fields that my wife and I are in, we settled for Sparks.

Reno/Sparks has been seeing a huge rise in Home prices the past couple years. I’d personally prefer minden/gardnerville over your other choice for the easier access to the Mountain areas. It also has easier access to Carson city and may find many work options there depending on career field.
