I put the Prinsu roof rack on yesterday. The grille guard is Ranch Hand, the cap is a Leer 100xl with Thule roof rack and fold down kayak holders.

I had a Ranch Hand grill guard on my '11 Tundra. The thing rusted badly in very short order, especially that mesh in the middle. I ended up taking the whole thing off, cutting out the mesh altogether, and having the rest sandblasted and Linexed. It was great after that.

Thanks, I will probably get it sand blasted and coated when it first starts rusting

Hey @K-Bear ! Nice to see you came over to the best color Tacoma thread on the forum! Welcome :hattip:

Really dig those inlays. Easy to tell right off what that is.

I finally got a chance to do a thorough wash inside and out today. Even had the time to remove that stupid V6 badge. Last but not least, I applied some extra 303 protectant to the X2 tonneau cover, and the plastics inside. Now it's gonna rain on Tuesday.

But for now it looks new again.

    So much more symmetric now.

Rob, do you have an issue with your x2 rails sloping down/in towards your bed? Mine are sloped enough that they will gouge/scratch the top of the plastic cap on the tailgate

When I installed my cover I had to literally use a rubber mallet to make the left rail match the right rail. It was bowed ever so slightly at the end. I basically unlocked the cover, closed the tailgate, and put a piece of cardboard in betwen the cover and tailgate cap and then beat it a couple times. It looks like this now:

    20170618_141007.jpg

You can see how it has a little swoop upwards as it meets the tailgate.

It is a real sweet stout for sure. Normally I park in a specific spot next to a median to minimize people next to me... but I couldn't resist moving spots for a few photos together. Later that afternoon, I came out and there was a Jeep in a similar color scheme parked on the other side of the stout. But, the stout had left or I would have kept the photo shoot going
