One of my biggest issues is redundant tasks. When I was at the dunes and having the ever-so-present wind, chasing sand was almost a constant and then trying to hit the camping pads between the rv's moving in and out was a challenge. So I probably wouldn't do well in a snow climate.

 

Well once you move it , it usually freezes in place so there is that lol :}

One of my favorite jackets is a Polartec fleece, I’m slightly disappointed when I put it back in the closet at the end of Spring.

 

Till it snows again and again and again.

One of the issues with sand and wind, the sand will carry until there a obstacle. When the wind blows around the obstacle the sand falls out much like snow drifts around cars, power poles, sign posts, etc. So if you get a big enough sand drift, there's no telling what's in it. So now there's camping pads that have had rv's on them most of the winter and the campers have been draining their gray water, bbq ash, trash, diapers and everything else they lose or don't want (I'm sure the city streets where you folks are are very similar) and it's just a mess. Hitting a sand drift that people have been pissing in for weeks and months is not a highlight of the job. Then to see kids playing in the sand that's full of nails and screws from the cheap Ikea furniture they brought from home to burn, piss and graywater remnants just makes you want to go slap the parents because they've been doing it for years and aren't smart enough to figure it all out.
