    Hi!

I am Zeke, currently in the Air Force. I just recently bought a 2018 Tacoma TRD Off-road. It will be my 9th vehicle I have owned, but will be my first midsize truck. I have mostly owned full-size trucks and a couple of cars. I have always wanted a Tacoma, but needed space and towing/carrying capacity so I never gotten one. I couldn't pass up the 2018 in quicksand so I traded in my Silverado and got this bad boy:tacoma.jpg

I have already started making it my own and doing small stuff to it, but I will try to keep it as stock as possible. Mainly going to be my daily driver and hunting/hiking vehicle.

Thank you all! I just spent another $1,900 today lol. Bought Bakflip MX4, clear invisbra for front end, husky weatherbeater floor liners (full set), new set of recovery straps and ratchets (left mine in the old truck when I sold it) and cargo bed bars.

Welcome aboard Zeke. Enjoy the journey and see the world in the USAF. Gave them 21 years myself.

HAHA! I know... this past couple of days just reading the forums, I am already making a list of what I want done: LED headlights/fog lights, LED cabin lights, rock sliders (I have them tube nerf bars from factory), TRD pro skid plate, and black matte rear bumper caps. I am gonna try to contain myself and slowly build it and see what I would need as I go on and what I don't as I take this thing out in the woods.

Thank you for your service! I do enjoy the travel and seeing different cultures. I grew up traveling to different countries so its nice to go to places my parents hasn't been to yet =]. If only I can take the Tacoma with me to some of the places I ventured to; being in a tour with a time constraint and other people is more stressful than relaxing.

Welcome to TW! Good plan on seeing what you need/want to change to suit you better. I would recommend you get some Weathertech or Husky floor liners to help contain the dirt from being out in the woods.

Thank you! Yup, Xpel invisbra, bed cover, and Husky floor liners were the first things I bought. Still waiting on them though, should arrive this week since I ordered them at the beginning of last week. I had weathertech in my silverado for a couple of years and didn't like them. So thought I would go with Husky this time.

Nice start! I've read the Husky are softer than the Weathertechs making them more comfortable. I got my weathertechs before I found the Husky liners and have been happy enough with them to not replace them.

They do their job nicely, but I found that corners especially the ones that are on the door sill will start curling with weathertechs. Granted, I had a black truck in the south and it was parked outside since it didn't fit in a garage so temperature was a big player in curling those weathertechs. Hopefully since the Husky is softer than weathertech, it won't do that.
