I guess that’s one benefit of working mids, I can generally wait for daylight before I clear the snow. :notsure:

Ice sucks ... I’m just sayin’

That pork / bacon looks delicious

    Attaboy! :woot:

On base we call the outfit that keeps the runways and airfield cleared the “snowbarn” because of the big hangar that houses all the equipment ... it occurs to me you have your own private snowbarn ... that’s just darn cool. :jellydance:

Gorgeous ... I love that blue!

At least they put oil in it. you would be surprised how many come back because the customer didn't put oil in the engine before using it.

    Evening everyone !! :hattip:

45° and temps are falling , supposed to get down to 23° tonite .Reading some of the posts on here but not all looks like there was a snow plow ,snow removal discussion

I've got a Marine buddy of mine that lives in Oregon who has had problems with city / county snow plows that were constantly destroying his mailbox . He got even with these snow plows a few years ago and made a snow plow proof mail box

He dug a hole 4' deep and then sunk a 2.5 ft dia 8ft long sonatube then using 3/4" rebar for the cage and then used heavy grade concrete to fill the sonotube . on top of this concrete tube he had a 4" dia concrete filled steel tube that attached to the mailbox

That coming winter they had a significant snowstorm and required snow plows . he sat down in his living room and watched a county snowplow come down his street and the plow hit his mailbox and when it did it ripped the blade and all the support mechanism off of it like it was plastic

The plow operator got out of his truck looking at all the destruction and my buddy was laughing hard at him
