I would go only a little higher than the rail itself. How about a bolt piece as an attachment to go in front that goes forward like a bracket on each side. Then the flat piece across the front? Coming along nicely though. Wish I could that stuff.

It's hard to see, but I put .5" spacer in the body mounts. IMG_0326.jpgI will move on to the bed.

It doesn't. I cut some spacers after I measured the factory bolts. .5" is as big as you can go without replacing bolts.

I got the bed done this afternoon. I will take some pictures of stuff tomorrow. I think it looks pretty good. All the roof rack parts will be dry by tomorrow so that should get finished as well.

Rack is done. Still need to trim the rubber pieces than fill in the gutter.
Left the wind deflector bare aluminum to blind oncoming traffic on sunny days.

I used 1/2" aluminum cut to the size of the body mounts.

These fall into the category of it would take me longer to make it than time I would want to spend on it. Skids are in that same category. Came down to time vs money.

I was bored here at home and whipped a set up out of 3/16 angle. They're not fancy like the TC's but work

Those look good. In hind sight I probably could have whipped some out but I was also trying to finish up my bumper and do the body repair to my front end during that time period.
