    Hey all!

I’m fairly new to Seattle and I just recently picked up a DCSB 2013 taco. I’ve never been to any real off road parks or tails and I was hoping to get out next week somewhere to test out my new truck.

Given the time of year, do any of you have any recommendations for a place that is passable for a stock Tacoma? I’ll be with a buddy of mine and I don’t have any recovery gear so I’m really just looking for a mild, fun trail to drive. I’m willing to drive a couple hours in any given direction for a good spot.

    Thanks!

    Fair enough

on a side note, some of us recently saw these jeeps out during the day, with all the underneath multi color lights on, 20+ inch wheels, tires with barely any sidewall, and I think blue fog lights on. Off trail and ripping up land in between the tree's, spinning tires with like 1 inch of slushy snow on the ground. They were rad dudes with bad 'tudes.

Ya I'm hatin' right now but I just got out of Costco. I hate crowds.

Yep, night wheeling (intended or not), jacking, tire changes, placement of Maxtrax, you name it.

I love going out that way. It seems like I always end up heading North so I don't have to go through Seattle.

I ended up playing out in Idaho this Saturday with @coletownsend22 though

Shackles and the receiver hitch shackle thing from HF are good. The 6 foot strap is good as a tree saver too. But the 20' strap you want to be stretchy. The procomp strap is only $40.

I was about to say, that looks like Cole's truck. His rig looks sweet after the swap.

I went to mule last year and asked them what their best rock lights are. They told me their vision-x set was good. Bought them and I would say my iPhone put out more light than them. After a year on the truck the light covers are stained so bad it hardly puts out any light at all. They where unusable in Moab when we did our night runs out there, because they just didn't put enough light out.

I would either use 2x2 pods or do some type of custom solution after seeing that crap. I called vision-x out on it and they really didn't say much except buy their Tantrum Kit if I wasn't happy with the kit I bought.
