Its interesting. These tires are more than a .5" taller that the KM2s. Maybe as much as 5/8" taller. Plus they are way stiffer, even at a lower PSI. Plus the wheel/tire package is heavier. Will be interesting how this all plays out.

 

If it plays its way onto my truck I'd be happy to take one for the team. They really do look awesome on there though, airing down might be a new experience with a stiffer tire though.

 

Taller than if the KM2's were new? Or because they are wore out? I know most BFG tires run small too..

I know e isn't near as soft as my C's.

It will be interesting to see what happens when they get some aired down miles on them. They feel waaaay stiffer right now.

 

Certainly taller than the KM2s are now (which are not worn out). The KMs were ~31.75" tall ("C" rated) with the weight of the truck on them, the Coopers are 32.5" ("E" rated) in the same situation.

E rating..yeah gonna ride a lot stiffer then your old tires in every way. You also can't air down as low due to larger wheel. Kinda a loose loose in that situation. One of the big reasons why I like driving frank in the dirt more

 

I would say they are about half way thru their useful like in terms of mileage. Still a lot of miles left in them.

Yes, the KM2s definitely run small compared to these coopers...

IMO, the jury is not out yet. Lets get some miles on the "E" rated tires before passing judgement. I plan to air down to as low a psi as before to find out just what these "E" rated sidewalls are capable of.

 

Yeah no doubt. Hopefully you get some miles soon. Frank needs tires and not sure what kind I want. Either those or MTR's again

Well Konsta is right again, I filed down the bashed inner lip and the cup slid right down. Guess I just got frustrated and tired last night and went to ham getting it in. Oh well

I run them around 10-12 in the dirt out here. They flex well and grip. But different driver, different expectations. Hopefully you like them.
