For sale is a set of led pods with bed cleat brackets. I purchased the brackets on here mounted them to see how they would look but never hooked them up and then decided to get a camper shell so now I have no use for them. I want 60 dollars plus shipping.

 

Just curious, how do these wire up?

 

A negative and positive wire , I think that’s what your trying to ask me ? Let me know if That answers your question

 

I mean do you gotta drill into the bed and splice in somewhere? Run a switch to a positive wire in the ACC circuit. I’m new to wiring on these trucks. Guess I’m more just asking the method people usually use to wire in lighting.

 

I was going to run a wiring harness from the bed to them and wire them up with a switch and exactly the same way you would with a light bar. I have a wiring harness that I was going to make work for a extra 10 dollars if you want it ?

 

I’m ok but thank you! I was really just curious about how people wire them up. Was thinking in the future about somehow just making a plug that plugs into factory inverter so it wouldn’t be permanent. Mount the light on the bed rail.

Yeah that would work. You only have power to the inverter when the truck is on unless you do a mod. Another thing is that to access your switch you would have to access the cab unless you put a switch in. Just my 02cents

 

Ummm... no. factory inverter is an AC 120v plug.... any standard LED pod for vehicles you will buy is 12v DC.
