This one thing has kept me from buying a SSO. Not cutting is the one thing that might have sold me on it.

Had this been out months ago i would have bought instead of my sso. I prefer no cutting... plus ground clearance looks to be not that different

SOS concepts streamline is the one I been looking at. Really like that low profile. Debating to pull the trigger and buy it.

Just installed mine yesterday. It is a little lower profile than sso’s. Even lower if you get no center hoop. Love mine! Came out after only one day from home depot to a man and son staring at it.

Thanks for the input. Will definitely be one of my next purchases. Do you regret the center hoop or does it gives the truck more character?

It looks nice. If i wasnt doing a winch and just wanted the bumper id do no hoop and a light in the lower bumper recessed. But since im doing a winch im glad i got the hoop cause a light wont fit back there. Both look great. A good option is hoop with lightbar cutout in bumper

Yes. Order matte black rubber door trim you need 8’. A dremmel worked perfect for cutting the plastic then i used a razor blase to clean the plastic shavings up then put rubber trim on it and it looked factory and filled gap of new bumper. Took 2 hours. If i had to do again id put bumper on then make cut. Also be very careful when removing bumper its hardest part. You have to reach under wheel well pull mud gaurd out, reach hand up in it, unclip the two front fender clips from the inside and then undo the one fender screw before bumper can be removed. Very easy install.

That’s a great point. I’m really liking this one over the SSO bumper solely for the non cutting factor.

Dont let cutting scare u it took me two minutes and was so easy. Just as easy as removing the tow hook. You wont want to sell these cool things lol. If thats your only reason buy sos or sso.

I will preface this by saying I do like the SSO bumper a lot and would definitely consider it if it wasn't $1,000 + by the time it arrived, so the $605 shipped price point of the Warn unit is appealing. I also like the taller hoop, although I would like to see where it hits heightwise relative to the Pro grille.

Questions I have for those who install them.
    1. It appears you couldn't run a winch and an LED bar behind the grille in the slot where most people sit them. The winch would sit where the bar would sit. That being said, if you don't run a winch, can you still fit an LED bar there, how obstructed would it be by the hoop.
    2. If you cannot run the bar inside, is there a convenient mounting spot for a 30" bar on the hook
    3. The new bumper does overlap the OEM bumper outside of where the pieces you remove sit. How tight is it to the plastic bumper (ie will it rattle against the plastic and scratch at that location)
    4. It looks like the plastic bumper hangs below the steel piece in between the steel bumper and the skid plates - is this the case? It seems like you could still do damage to the plastic bumper if say you decided to bash through a snowbank / tall snow

Like I said, I do like the SSO unit a bit more, but the Warn is appealing at the price point and maybe something I'd do down the road depending on the above answers.
