I used to take 2 Ibuprofen and 2 Exedrin. They play well together.

Officer asked me if I wanted the meat if he had to put it down. Think there’s still some stuck in my grille.

 

That sucks I've had some close calls. I was thinking about the ARB bumper but I don't want to have to trim the fenders on a new truck. Plus 1500 is a bit much for a bumper IMO.

 

I hit one in 2013. Its head hit the license plate, wrapped around drivers front quarter and I drove over it. DEAD! $2600 All the plastic up front (pretty much everything) was broke to some degree.

And then you have to upgrade your suspension up front!

 

More deer than dogs around here. Lady down the way actually feeds them! We had words about it. Wife's focus hit one, it got fixed, then a week later one charged outta the weeds right into the drivers side again. Body damage & another new mirror. Should almost put wing nuts on it. Any opinions on deer whistles?

 

Never hit a deer with a car with whistles. Otherwise I’ve hit 4 and 1 hit me. Swerved and missed more than I hit. And every one that I hit I was unable to swerve for. The first two were a week apart 23 years ago, wasn’t watching for them. After I started watching for them I was surprised how easy they were to spot.

Feeding deer is illegal in many places.

Years ago, I actually had a pair of whistles made by Browning. Damn, they worked. Stupid me sold the truck & didn't take them off figuring I could get another pair. NOT!

She had a salt lick two years ago before I called the Law. Whole herd were showin' up.

 

I haven't hit a deer yet, but I got hit BY ONE once.

Driving home from work one night, I saw this doe standing on the side of the road. I slowed down 'cause I wasn't sure what she was going to do.

As I was passing her I hear this loud "WHAM!" from the rear passenger side. Sure enough, she took a leap right in to my right rear quarter panel!

I stopped to see if she was alright (or to throw her in the back), and never found her or any blood or anything. All I had was a little ding on the side of the bed.

 

Guess you gotta be good to be lucky. That was just like the second one the wife had. I woulda liked to see the diagram she had to draw for the insurance co. That heated mirror cost a fortune!

 

The one that hit me, drivers side rear wheel molding, popped gas cap cover. Got out, the deer was nowhere to be found and I had some snot and no damage!

 

It Looks like both headlights, Grill, bumper, grill surround,radiator support, fender trim, trans cooler, fog light(s), maybe hood... thing was pretty massive.

 

I just can't believe that rad isn't leaking but glad you got it into the shop so quick.
