Going for like a couple grand at most. Blown engine, rollover. Ya know.

I do have time, couple months until LBL still.

The build bug is getting very antsy though. Oh how I would enjoy taking some suspension apart.

    I registered on CoPart also.

I may be able to do you better like around 5 but it'll be "me" buying it. I do know a guy that has 2 older tacos both running that I can get for 2 but none of your parts will work.

It's all good. Keep on keepin on on the looking.

Frustration all around really. This is not the only topic where I am currently searching for something to have a bit of fun with. This and other topics have gotten plenty of effort, with minimal return to this point. Obviously be nice if I could have some actual success in even one of the several topics, get my mind off stuff.

You say it like it's a bad thing haha

I've been alright just busy and maybe. I've been wanting to go LBL and I'm trying to build up a dedicated trail rig right now. I was hoping to have it done around that time for a trip to Windrock and I think heading to Harlan some time in May possibly. Haven't really decided yet.

I will keep to the 4x4s. My green baby is fantastic. Doing the rig thing in here as well. Seems like a good bit of KY/TN is going the rig route.

Its hard not be a goon at the moment, still, first 4x4 truck ever i have owned and i have driven trucks since i could drive. I giggle now where i would have had a puckered ass in my old 5 lug.

The snow recently has given me plenty of chance to use that awesome little button. I paid for it, damn sure gonnna use it.

I am for sure on LBL. I put the days off req in on friday. Thur, fri, monday.

If the KY group keeps things to about 2.5/3 hours from me, i would be able to do more day trips on Saturdays. The Rush trip worked out well when i went.

Rush turned out to be a MUCH better park than I had heard. About 3-1/2 hours on the road. Harlan is 4 hours. RRG is 2-1/2.

An old park that closed for a while is re-opening. Blue Holler is abouts hour south of Louisville. Closest thing to home except Dirty Turtle. (Which is a waste of time)

Lol yeah but man you were balls to the wall with that thing haha. 2 more wheels turning up front makes a hell of a difference.

And man, I wheeled mine a good bit. I've got a built dana 60 front for it ready to rock and roll. The only reason I'm building a "trail rig" is because I sent a rod through the block of my work beater and after I got a new motor and rebuilt it, I said hell, might as well throw more money at it and use the Taco as a tow/recovery rig lol...not to mention I ended up with another work beater during the time I was rebuilding.

Have not been to RRG. Read the letters a lot, under the impression it's a ok park.

It really is a shame that there is very little in the way of OHV parks in Ohio. Especially in the South East region of Ohio where Wayne National Forest is. A lot more mall crawling and crawlers than actual wheeling in Ohio. Sucks.

I would like to go West one day, way west. Like the Dez. Don't wanna huck my shit, but damn I'd love to offroad race.

Actual car problems suck. Blown engine is no good....just ask Everett!

A solid axle eh? Should be neat, "Slander" went to AOP in Nov, had a SAS 1st gen. Beastly truck.

Lol, I've seen the FRS. It was stuck in the snow, HA!. I thought it was a Camry at first when he sent me a pic.

RRG (DBBB) is one of the few "point A to point B" trails in these parts.... That, and it runs through some of the most scenic country you'll ever experience. Rated A+

Black Mountain (Harlan) is enormous. Enough to satisfy even the hard core off roader Rated A+

Rush is pretty damn big too. Lots of varying trails. Rated A+

Blue Holler is relatively small, mostly a SXS trail system, but very close to (my) home. Rated B

Dirty Turtle is a ditch...Over use has left it destroyed. Just a playground. Add to that, almost 30 years of personal history there...Kinda tired of it. Rated C-

When I raced dirt bikes, we ran 4 enduro's in the Wayne National Forest (McCarthur area mostly) It would be an ideal off road area.

ME and 2 buddies are headed west (to Moab) this spring. I'm not really looking forward to the long drive to and from...

    RRG = Red River Gorge....right?

I know all about Harlan. Site of some real "holy shit" moments for me in the old 5 lug. Would be very nervous going back, unwarranted fear probably, but still, one bad apple.

Yeah, that SouthEast corridor of Ohio would be the ideal spot for an OHV park. Maybe down in Meigs County. :D:rasta:
