That's a nice ring. I like the implied two halves together creating a whole & the two gears to keep everything working aspects of that design. Very nice.

 

Yep. That's what I liked about it as well. Plus the fact that my friend had designed it, and I made up my mind right away about it.

 

We both trust and feel that the ring is just a symbol not anything that will stop a mistake.

 

TRUE that, the ring is just telling the other chick that the guy has somewhere to be after.

 

I called the assessor this morning because they want to look at my house and land for my abatement. Told him first thing in the morning is better for me since I work 45 minutes away and then I can just go in a little later rather than burning a day. I get "Okay, sure, how's 10 AM on Thursday?"

I don't know what world 10 is first thing in the morning in, but whatever.

 

I wear a ring for work and it's actually made a big difference

That doesn't always work, My fathers 3rd wife, sorry I mean 4th (think he is on 6 now), felt that if they were both married, then its ok.

 

I haven’t been hit on by a customer since. I just leave it on now and it’s helped me out of a couple situations haha. I just say “well my husband bla bla bla” and guys back off

 

Gotcha. Kinda sleazy that they still hit on you if you ask me, and they see thing ring.

 

They do well. I’ve had this one since 2015. It survived a deployment. Only thing I noticed was it’s best to take them off at night to let the skin underneath breathe.

 

I’ve always gotten hit on by customers here and there, but a manager at a big account texted me one night asking to go get drinks. I told my manager right away because I didn’t want to get in trouble if they cancelled the account for me saying no. I didn’t want to be in that situation again

 

I lost my wedding band three times until I finally said forget it, can't wear it. Shoulda been a sign...

My buddy blew up his 10k mile Sierra over the weekend. Not inspiring confidence for me with this truck, although his is a 6.2L. Thinks it may have thown a rod.

It’s unfortunate but in my business it’s pretty common place for the women in my position to hook up with customers to get upsells etc. so most of them feel fine asking for it. My counterpart in another part of the country is younger than me, and has a bad reputation already. But I’ll be the first one to tell someone to go screw
