Who would have guessed that women can be stubborn? You might not get to own a car with a manual transmission ever again.

She honestly doesn't care about me owning one, even when I had my FJ and Ram she still didn't drive either. I think she drove my FJ one time to the coffee shop while I was at the optometrist and she got tired of waiting. She just likes to bitch the one or two times a year when she has to wait on me to get home or something to go pick up a shrub or piece of furniture.

It was frustrating teaching my wife and it took some time but it paid off. She loves it now

I started on ours the other night, got everything we need I think aside from the 1098-T for my wife's college tuition. Glad she is done with her Masters but I'm gonna miss that tax break! I still have some GI Bill I need to use so I may take some classes. I have no idea what to go for but I will find something I guess!

So far, a big fat ZERO from the ol bluegrass state. Waiting on my 1098 as well, since that's now a thing being a homeowner n all. I just find it very odd that I get nothing from state.

Incredibly confused how my W2 makes this false claim that I made more money than the past years :der:

I usually get about $5 back from the state of Kentucky. This is with having the maximum amount being withheld.

As far as your W2, If you opted for a cheaper medical insurance plan this year that could have something to do with it.... That's the only thing I can think of.

Insured through work. Don't think they had any major changes.
They release letters, but it doesn't affect me as I'm not married nor spawned any gremlins.

As soon as the wife and I got married we typically paid in $200-$600 and then when we bought a house we typically owed state and by the time we paid someone to prepare our taxes and paid what we owed the state we broke even or got back $50 federal (which is how its supposed to go). Now with the kid... we get back a decent little chunk. I started doing our taxes last year with TurdoTax and have been really happy with it. It makes me pissed to think back to how much we paid an accountant to do them!!!

I still wish I was brave enough to really go to town on deductions. I'm paranoid I will get audited and the world will come to an end...

Some employer sourced health insurance was deducted pre-tax. In 2017 that went away. I'd say why, but that would get me a 7 day ban. So you'll show more income even if you make same salary.

    Welcome to adulting.

I have 6 rentals. Taxes on that get done then personal. Still being ass raped on 1st stage. Soon they will be paid off. Then I REALLY get a screwin'. Mine won't be done until April.

I got $27 back from state. Hollaaaaa.... and I just noticed I answered the battery question about voltage in the other thread instead of this one where I asked the question. What an idiot, too many threads to keep up with.

Know what they're made from? Gel, Lead Acid, AGM?

Curious if they'd be off-road worthy to replace my battery or run a dual setup
